"Fantastic experience across the board. Was greeted by a friendly hostess (wish I had gotten her name) who was super accommodating with our table selection. The waitstaff was fabulous attentive, efficient and friendly. Special thank you to Chris for the awesome service throughout our meal. The food, drinks and desserts were delicious. We had the salmon eggs benedict (with a side of potatoes and salad), **** Marys, aperol spritz, an omelette, fries for the table and the cheesecake and vanilla ice cream topped with espresso. (There were 4 people in our party). Highly recommend! The location is super convenient to a lot of touristy spots in NYC. My mom and I headed over to The Great Gatsby after brunch which was a convenient 2 blocks away!"

"My fiancé and I loved our experience in Portofinos! The staff was attentive, friendly and punctual. We ordered the Calamari and it was delicious! The Auberginen-Rollatini was the best I ever had! The Ricotta cheese really turned out. My fiancée had the chicken french and couldn't lay down his fork. Jennifer was our server and made our experience an unforgettable experience as we wanted to celebrate Valentine's Day today. Thank you."

"Everything was nice for a local date night . Live DJ on a Saturday night, drink were well made and the food was good. The ambiance was holiday theme and gave a cozy log cabin vibe. "A bit disappointed in the quality of food here. The pasta noodles fine and some of our group had good fish but the pasta additions were lacking in quality. The service was slow, but it was busy. The waiter had a hard time hearing our orders and one entree was incorrect but after the long wait for food we let it go. Really good calamari starter. Good drink options."

"we hosted the first birthday party of my daughter in February 2022. kerry worked with us to make sure we had everything on site and place, including table options and dinner packages. the food was delicious and the room was spacious enough for our 30 guests. at the day of the event our waitresses were unbelievable, so everyone had what he needed. I recommend to host their next event here!"

"came for New Year's Prefix party. table places and environment were great, especially with the live band. but we sat almost an hour before the first meal at our table, not even brot. the table was not set right and we had to arrive after cutlery and serviette bed linen after eating. the main course arrived before the appetizers and then everything was there at once, which made food too cold. zero flexibility when adapting the menu options. the personal was very friendly, but the overall service experience level was terrible. with a final bill for two people over $320 (only ordering 2 glasses cheap wein) it was certainly not worth the cost for the service levels. still was eating delicious and the ambiente was nice. only too unorganized."

"All about this place is fantastic, except that it is close to the Andrew Hotel in Great Neck Long Island and this place is terrible, I really think that Italian food is the best and I think that if you think it is the best you would love this restaurant. The waiters are super friendly and they know what they are about to definitely stay for dessert if you have cheesecake OMG that is the best cheese cake. I love cheesecake. LOL cheese cake forever"

"we arrived for a seat of 5:15 o'clock. (5 pm was not available for booking. everything went smoothly and we liked our waiter very much for his keyless person. we discovered by watching during the meal that he was new and training. we didn't get a broth basket, but that was okay because we really didn't need it. the food was perfectly cooked and presented, delicious to taste, with the portion size Spot-on. we ordered espresso (very smooth and dessert to share with a little more than 20 minutes before we leave for the theatre. the espresso came after a second request from the experienced waiter, but not dessert. apparently it took time. (if they didn't unfroze it last minute, I'm a loss to find out why they needed 20 minutes to get it on my table. we asked the bill that showed that we really had to leave and take the dessert out of the bill. in the 20-minute Plus brand we have finally signed the leak and our original waiter gave me a bag with my dessert inside. Thank you, I brought a big handbag to lock it up. with the exception of dessert problems we have actually loved eating and the experience in serafina and would definitely go back. I feel that it was just a bit bad for us and not the usual experience you would have."
