"Came to Norfolk for our son's graduation and had THE.BEST. INDIAN.FOOD. EVER! Fresh, delicious, served HOT. Naan bread was to die for; really just an incredible little restaurant. Dinner was served at a leisurely pace, portions are generous but not excessive. Rice was unbelievably good. Staff was friendly, patient with those new to Indian cuisine and attentive. Never felt rushed. Music only added to the ambience."

"Absolutely poor service. Party of Was seated without menus. Brought water after minutes and then menus after another minutes. Waiters tie dipped in my water glass and he didn't even notice. Normally not a big deal, as I would just ask for another. But in this case he was reaching across the table when he could have easily walked around to the other side. We weren't in a booth. Once food arrived, it sat in the aisle between two occupied tables on a tray. The waiter then arrives about minutes later and puts it on our table. The entire time the two tables are wondering if that was their meal or belonged to the opposite table. Waiter never came back to check in to see how the meal was. Never asked if we wanted anything else. Brought check but no pen to sign receipt. After waiting for minutes, I walked to the front, helped myself to a pen on the counter signed the receipt and left! This place appears to be overpriced for what it is. Basically another runofthemill Indian restaurant. Nothing special. Dont let the decor fool you into thinking it is of higher quality"

"This restaurant experience was extremely disappointing. My party of four was seated without menus and had to wait 5 minutes for water and another 5 minutes for only 2 menus. The waiter accidentally dipped his tie into my water glass without noticing. When he brought our food, he set it on the ground between two other tables before finally placing it on our table. The waiter never checked in on us during our meal, never asked if we needed anything else, and when it came time to pay the bill, there was no pencil provided to sign. After waiting for 10 minutes, I had to ask for a pencil at the entrance counter, sign my receipt, and leave. Overall, this restaurant seemed overpriced for the mediocre experience we had. It was just another average Indian restaurant with nothing special to offer, relying on its decor to give off a false sense of higher quality."
