"I felt inclined to update my review. I initially had a bad experience and happened to return and the friendly lady at the drive thru remembered me acknowledged the previous incident. She apologized and assured me it was addressed by the owner. I thanked her and mentioned the tacos were too good for me not to return. As a customer I appreciate that fact that the issue was addressed so now I can continue to visit in the mornings."

So this is a new edited version. Not the record of a person came out right. The server did not repeat my order and my drinks never filled up again. "I visited this Mexican restaurant for the first time at 6:00 PM. The parking lot was somewhat crowded, but we managed to find a spot down the plaza. There was a notice on the door informing customers that they were short-staffed, so we would need to place our orders through our phones rather than with a server. The menu was quite extensive, which was great, but scrolling through all the options was a bit challenging since they weren't organized into categories. The food was decent, but the interior could use some improvement. I also found the music to be a bit too loud for a dining setting. Overall, I would consider returning if they could hire more staff."

"The food is delicious. Taco de tripas doradas, las enchiladas, los chilaquiles, picadillo. Its not greasy, excellent food in my opinion. Unfortunately, we stopped going for a few reasons:1) they’re now including the tip in the check which, OK, not bad except its led to #2…2) poor service. Now it doesnt matter apparently what kind of service you get, theyre getting tipped. So the last 3 times weve gone, weve had to wait 40 m 1 h for our food, the waitresses dont seem to notice us, or follow up, they take a long time to get our drinks, our order. They seem more disinterested.3) They charge you $2 I believe for the to go cups. Twice I never asked for it but they gave it to me anyways. I once ordered a bean and bacon, bean and cheese and 1 unsweet tea and it came out to $8. Doesnt sound much, but when the whole family goes, its been close to $50 with just 2 tacos per person.Ill give it a break, maybe Ill go back in a few. The food really is delicious and Ive yet to find a better taco house in the area, i do miss it ?"

The servings are generous and while not gourmet, they 're filling and satisfy your cravings for BBQ or tacos. They 've also got excellent iced tea and a full condiment bar. This is a great option for a satisfying, yet efficient, breakfast or lunch."

"Patty and her catering crew prepared the food for my annual 4th of July Annual family picnic and set up as well as tore down the meal setup at my home. My wife and I were totally delighted with the taste, quantity and quality of all the food. The price was extremely reasonable. Chef Tom did an outstanding job. My guest were absolutely delighted with the food and complimented spread. No doubt Patty and Tom will be doing my Holiday catering from now and onward. Thank you Chaparritas for an outstanding job. "Been to El Rincon more times than I can count and the food is always delicious. However, the server named Ruby has given us a terrible experience both times we’ve had her recently. Her section was not busy, and my husband waited 25 minutes with an empty water cup while Ruby checked on every other table in her section. Last time we had her, she was standing around talking instead of helping. 10/10 restaurant. 0/10 server."

"in my search for the best cheese enchiladas with chili con carne this restaurant was often suggested, so I had to go back to check it again. many years ago I had left a bad review because of their policy regarding military rabates, but I am now there. bonus that this place happens to be near where I live now. I had the cheese enchiladas with chili con carne, decided for the charro beans, fresh made mais tortillas and a house margarita. everything was delicious and the service was great! the sauce was a little spicy than I like, but they were still good. they have daily specialties and on Monday and Wednesday they have cheese enchiladas for $5! for that I am here in definitiw."

"I’ve known about this place for years and finally gave it a try. I really wanted breakfast, but we missed the cut off time. Opted for lunch/dinner options instead. I ordered the chicken fried steak plate w/baked potato, cabbage and salad. The salad was fresh and delicious. The CFS was okay, but not the best I’ve had. The crust tasted bland, but I did like that it wasn’t overly breaded. The cream gravy saved it for me to eat. The cabbage was cooked well, but also lacked flavor even once I put salt. My husband had the Chicken fried chicken plate and said the chicken was tender and juicy. He disagreed and said the cabbage was good. I just need to note He hates salt on his food, where I like to put salt on almost everything. This meal was a miss for me, but I still want to go back to have breakfast. Our server Katie was Amazing!! I would definitely like to have her again when I make it back for breakfast. In fact it seemed the entire staff was very pleasant. Definitely a huge plus for me, when the employees are happy. Wait time was about 15 minutes and Our food came out fairly quick. The prices were very reasonable and plenty of parking. From the looks of it they had several benches outside, so I’m guessing wait times could be longer and we just got lucky. They are Closed on Sunday’s and Closed for a week long vacation they actually post to inform customers."
