"This place is the best and the last 5 negative reviews were confirmed made by one person who is just mad that this place enforces a mask policy. They never mess up my order, the staff is wonderful and personable. The people complaining are the type of people who ruin the ambiance of the store with their own entitlement and immaturity. "we enjoy this restaurant, but eating was a bit disappointing and the noise level was distracting. it wasn't because of the others, it was the situation. I had the Moimosa flight that was intended for more than one person. the personal was good and tried to be attentive. I also had the hugging and wagging, that was disappointing. the children were overboiled and dry and the waffels were almost cold. I wouldn't order them again. overall we had a good time, but that was a mediocre experience. but I must praise the personal, they were great."

"Excellent services. We were a party of 16 adults and 2 children, our main waiter Ben was professional, considerate, expedient and efficient. The other two staff were also very helpful. This is a restaurant in general is casual and family oriented. The food was delicious, some of our favorites were the hot Nashville chicken, it was tender, crispy the right amount of spice. The corn bread was delicious. The sesame dressing salad was great. Thank you for the amazing service."

"Love. As a home of Dublin for my whole life, I have enjoyed Hellas for over 10 years and my parents even longer. The food is worth it. It has always been cramped in the room and was always busy. For the cities that come daily this is normal and it will never shift us. I could see how someone wouldn't enjoy this place. The owner is great. When he reads older post, he probably didn't come to the table that complained because he was probably back in the kitchen cooking because it was busy! I would be that it was the waiter mistake not to enter your order and check if he noticed that other tables get food and not you. Very unprofessional for a waiter to say these things about the owner anyway. Ask someone from Dublin where they would go to breakfast and 9 times from 10 it will be Hellas. This restaurant is not made for a chain because trust me that they make enough money to make a chain. This is for his friends and family to enjoy good Greek cuisine, that's all. If you don't want the trouble to come, but trust me when I say the food is worth it."

"Fabulous food and excellent service so lovely to spend the day! I will come back soon for sure. The pea soup was out of this world, my friend’s mushroom barley soup was equally scrumptious and the falafel and pita sandwiches were extraordinary. Mine was extra spicy, my friend’s regular. Both were amazing especially when combined with coleslaw and pickle and dressings on the side. This was the most superb vegetarian luncheon for the two of us. You’ve got to go to Mendy’s 2.0 in person or online or on Goldbelly as soon as you read this review."

"I love diner food and don't expect much re: atmosphere, but this one was a little grimier than typical. When I go to a greasy spoon for breakfast, at the very least I expect really good coffee. Their's was horribly harsh and no amount of cream and sugar could fix it. OJ, equally bad bitter, expired maybe. Drank 2 sips. The plain pancakes that I ordered were excellent but could not make up for the horrid coffee and OJ, thus 3 stars only."

This is not the fanciest place in Hampden. It's not the foodiest of all spots in the neighborhood either. But what I had really hit the spot. It's a good option for a casual takeout dinner!
