"we enjoy this restaurant, but eating was a bit disappointing and the noise level was distracting. it wasn't because of the others, it was the situation. I had the Moimosa flight that was intended for more than one person. the personal was good and tried to be attentive. I also had the hugging and wagging, that was disappointing. the children were overboiled and dry and the waffels were almost cold. I wouldn't order them again. overall we had a good time, but that was a mediocre experience. but I must praise the personal, they were great."

"Excellent services. We were a party of 16 adults and 2 children, our main waiter Ben was professional, considerate, expedient and efficient. The other two staff were also very helpful. This is a restaurant in general is casual and family oriented. The food was delicious, some of our favorites were the hot Nashville chicken, it was tender, crispy the right amount of spice. "Love. As a home of Dublin for my whole life, I have enjoyed Hellas for over 10 years and my parents even longer. The food is worth it. It has always been cramped in the room and was always busy. For the cities that come daily this is normal and it will never shift us. I could see how someone wouldn't enjoy this place. The owner is great. When he reads older post, he probably didn't come to the table that complained because he was probably back in the kitchen cooking because it was busy! I would be that it was the waiter mistake not to enter your order and check if he noticed that other tables get food and not you. Very unprofessional for a waiter to say these things about the owner anyway. Ask someone from Dublin where they would go to breakfast and 9 times from 10 it will be Hellas. This restaurant is not made for a chain because trust me that they make enough money to make a chain. This is for his friends and family to enjoy good Greek cuisine, that's all. If you don't want the trouble to come, but trust me when I say the food is worth it."

The pea soup was out of this world, my friend’s mushroom barley soup was equally scrumptious and the falafel and pita sandwiches were extraordinary. Mine was extra spicy, my friend’s regular. "In my view, this establishment is definitely a couple of notches above the 'diner ' category considering the exceptional consistent quality of the meals, reasonable value from a pricing perspective the great service it offers. I can tell that all the ingredients for a majority of the dishes here are curated and freshly prepared. Each dish has that 'lively ' and 'enriching ' taste to it. Among the best dishes are the guacamole with chips, Athenian omelette, Mexicali chicken and the Brooklyn panini. While a bit condensed in space, the atmosphere is cozy and more than accommodating for a wide array of patrons, from medium sized parties to couples and families. Speaking of which, I would like to point out that the vast majority of the clientele at George 's Diner is family oriented and I am stating this in a very good way because they uphold a traditional, reserved and humble demeanor while dining at this place. In other words, I have never experienced any patrons tables that were noisy or rowdy in my years of dining here. Moreover, the service is well above average Delilah the waitress, Doreena the hostess, and the owner seems to always ensure that the patrons are satisfied. Overall, I could not be happier with this diner and will return here on a frequent basis."

"I love diner food and don't expect much re: atmosphere, but this one was a little grimier than typical. When I go to a greasy spoon for breakfast, at the very least I expect really good coffee. Their's was horribly harsh and no amount of cream and sugar could fix it. OJ, equally bad bitter, expired maybe. Drank 2 sips. The plain pancakes that I ordered were excellent but could not make up for the horrid coffee and OJ, thus 3 stars only."

"not sure if it 's new management but i typically order a chicken cheesesteak an italian cold cut to split with my bf. today they were honestly nasty. different (and much much MUCH worse) bread than usual. they put literally 1 kind of ham and the worst excuse for mortadella (it tasted looked like bologna) on my italian cold cut. hots have no spice to them. the chicken on the cheesesteak was visibly burnt/overcooked. whatever yall changed, change it back. hire your old cooks. anything but this. literally seasoning a can of tuna would have been better than this $30 worth of food."
