"Great seafood. Great service. We were greeted almost immediately by a friendly and welcoming host and sitting immediately. Our server was very human and knowledgeable about the menu. He gave us a breakdown of what they had to offer, which was nice since we've never been there. I was impressed that they use local oysters for their muted and raw oysters. My raw oysters were perfectly shoved without shell in them. My son's muted oysters were not so clean. My husband loved the custom order he made with only the base butter and garlic sauce. There was enough food for him to eat, to share with our son and to take remains home. Honestly, the shrimp was even better the next day after they sat overnight this season. This place is well furnished and fun. But plan to spend some money because food costs are so high, especially for seafood."

"I loved eating. I loved the atmosphere. my question was when we came to the restaurant, we stood in the Hostess area for over 4 minutes before we were greeted. it was really not a grue. they asked what we would rather sit. We never gave a welcome facility. there were 3 ladies in front. there was another customer in front and he and I locked the eyes for approx. 5 seconds when we waited to see if someone would actually recognize me and my fiancé in the opposite way they saw me, but never recognized our inestimacy. and everything else was great."

"The parking lot and outside the building look down. I was surprised that a place like this was on Open Table. But we decided to give him a chance. I ordered Clam Chowder that's my favorite soup. It was casual and tasteless. I told the server I don't like it. I was told that I couldn't replace it for something else. I asked for a manager who allowed me to exchange it for seafood gumbo. Tye food is nothing special and not worth it. If you can go somewhere else, I encourage you."

"My partner and I LOVE this place. We go for a lot of our special occasions as it’s a bit of a splurge price wise. We’ve always done take out and it’s been fantastic people complaining about lack of flavor/sauce simply ordered the wrong one for their preference. We always get the Boiling Special, Spicy, and have never been disappointed. So full of spice and flavor, and portions (we get Shrimp Head On and Green Mussels) are huge. The lunch deal is also a great option if you can pick up before 3pm."

"This was my first time going to this restaurant. You know parking is my thing. I rate parking spaces. I don't drive too much in DC because of cameras and it can take forever to park. Also parking can cost in the city. However this place is in VA. It is in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking. It is in the same shopping center as Babylon futbol cafe. Let's get to the food. This food was a treat. I didn't know what to expect for real. Another seafood spot. However, I've been to several that's why I didn't think too much about it. But let me tell you something here, this food was finger lickin and the drink. The drink I got was called the sidecar. Good drink. Be careful because you can drink that like juice and you can get messed up. Great drink. I got the scallops, with head off shrimp, corn. Appetizers crab fries and hush puppies. My go to seafood is scallops. I enjoyed every bit of it. The food came out so hot and fast. The customer service was great and it was a great atmosphere. Everything was good and ready to go. What I mean was when the food came out the bibs, gloves, claw cracking tool (I don't eat crabs like that) everything was ready. I'm definitely going back to this spot. I have to get another side car drink and indulge on more food there. I have to try the sandwiches like the po boy's."

Didn 't do 5 stars since our Po Boy crab sandwiches were largely bread and very little crab/filling. Several of us got them and all spoke about our bread sandwiches on the way home. "As a poke bar, Poke Bowl is typical of restaurants with similar focuses. When visiting, you can order a standard menu item or instead craft a meal of your own with personalized ingredients. "I gave them 4 stars because of the hostess. I think she was probably a freshmen in college or senior in high school. She told me there was a 15 to 20 minute wait and she would call me when my table was ready. Okay nothing wrong with that except she started to walk away without taking down my information or putting me on a wait list. I said well are you going to put me on the wait list or how does this work. She said I will be right back, a few minutes later she returned with a tablet and took my info. We waited awhile and another person comes over and started to seat people that came in after us. I said I was on a waitlist and was the first person. I downloaded the app. She apologized and immediately sat us at a table. After all of that, the food was good. The lobster roll is small for $18. The fried pickles and shrimp tacos were good. I love garlic so the mussels and snow crab legs were good in the garlic butter sauce. We will probably go back."

"I've only ordered for pickup, but I love this place. It can get a little pricey if you add multiple proteins, but I can usually eat off one boil for about 4 meals.
