"We have been frequenting this restaurant for a few years as we stay at a nearby hotel. The previous manager was friendly and personable, helping to grow their customer base. However, on our recent visit, there was a new manager in charge. We ordered oatmeal which was served cool in a cup instead of a bowl and without the expected crisp. I requested a sesame bagel untoasted, but was given a toasted everything bagel instead. The foam machine had been malfunctioning for a few days, so we opted for an iced coffee. In total, there were six issues with our simple breakfast order for two people. Despite tipping the staff when ordering, I was charged less for an extra cream cheese than the amount I tipped. While these discrepancies were not major, they were certainly annoying. The biggest disappointment was the behavior of the new manager, who was cold, disinterested, slow to respond, and visibly annoyed with any requests or comments. This was a stark contrast to the friendly and accommodating previous manager. I waited at the counter for some time while the manager ignored me. It is evident that many share my perception, as the restaurant was relatively empty. It is unfortunate that one individual could negatively impact the entire operation. Everyone makes mistakes, but the disrespect and coldness from the manager in charge of rectifying them is inexcusable. I do not recommend visiting this establishment until they make changes, as the foam machine for the coffee is likely still not functioning."
