"food and service were excellent. there were however 2 aspects of the experience with which we were very disappointed. 1) we arrived at our reservation on time. we sat right away and the first thing we said was: “We have 45 minutes to do this.” did you do that? it is a $65 per person tasting experience on a Saturday night in nyc. we all felt there was a rush on the restaurant part to feed us and get us out. the cook looked at his watch several times during dinner. we all feel that they should allow 90 minutes for the experience at least 90 minutes. 2) of 6 guests, 4 were men and they all remained hungry. we had to get a pizza after that. understand this is a tasting menu, after 15 curses and $65 a person, no one should be hungry. no need to be stuffed and overcrowded, but starving is definitely not expected. after the 14th tasting, the cook wanted to offer us the opportunity to order more food what we would have done, but then he looked at his watch and said it was not enough time. overall we enjoyed it, but we would not go back for the tasting menu."
