"This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! While the interior may lack charm, the food is absolutely phenomenal in taste. We didn't do any research, just randomly chose this place and noticed a photo of Guy Fieri on the window outside. We figured if Guy had been here, it must be good. And we were not disappointed. Our server didn't speak English, which we took as a good sign that the food would be authentically delicious. She took our order, though there was a bit of confusion as she seemed to indicate we should share the small soup I ordered (we were starving and ordered one each). We joked that they may have gotten the order wrong, but decided to try whatever was brought to us. We started with the Salt Pepper Squid, which was served with soy sauce and cut jalapeños - and it was delicious! Then our soups arrived. Despite ordering smaller portions, the bowls were huge and enough for sharing. Our server was definitely right to encourage us to share! I had the Wonton Soup with Prawns, which also had carrots, Bok Choy, pig and squid - it was absolutely delicious! He ordered the pork noodle soup, which was also filled with Bok Choy and perfectly tender pork. We couldn't have been happier with our choices and ate as much as we could. After our visit, I looked online and found out that this place is highly recommended by celeb foodies like Anthony Bourdain, Guy Fieri, Emril Lagasse, Jackie Chan, Saveur Magazine and the NY Times. They also stay authentic to themselves despite the recognition, which is exactly the experience we were hoping for. It was a pleasure to dine here."
