"It had been a long time since we had visited a Captain D's, so we decided to stop on our way home. We ordered two large family meals and anticipated a long wait in the drive-thru, as well as potentially grumpy staff due to the size of our order. To our surprise, the staff was very friendly, smiling, and happy to assist. The woman who took our order was particularly kind. We didn't end up waiting as long as we thought we would, and the fish and hush puppies were delicious! The only downside was the coleslaw, which tasted more like mayo and cabbage. Despite this, we had a great experience and would gladly return in the future."
