"I stayed at the attached Hampton hotel on business and was looking for a great dinner where I could dine alone. I was told by the desk to try this restaurant. I walked in and was astounded at how beautiful the restaurant and bar were, it was during the Christmas season. I was given a corner table by the hostess which I loved. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant and was impressed by the menu (I have worked or consulted for some very high restaurants/retailers in Manhattan). I had a waitress, if I'm correct her name was Amy. She came off as very professional but in some ways sweet. She was a great waitress. She brought me my order perfectly timed from my cocktail to my wine to my appetizer to the entree and to the dessert. I knew I picked the right place when I ordered a Negroni and it was perfectly made. I had a great salad but I was most impressed by the cassoulet. I've eaten in Paris, Montreal, NYC etc. and it was probably the best cassoulet I have ever had. It was delicious! Everything else was also very good including my chocolate dessert. Unfortunately my espresso was poorly made. The flavor was there but not the technique. After my meal I felt so comfortable that I decided to stay a bit longer and asked Amy if the restaurant carried Amaro. She didn't know what they were and the bartender Peter immediately came to my table and explained what he had. To my surprise he had Amaro Lucano, a spirit from my wife's small town in Italy. Very hard to find. The bar has an awesome menu of wine, spirits and beers. He gave me the drink on the house and recommended that I try one of his drinks called a Boulevardier. It was excellent. Most importantly Peter was very professional and maybe because of my being in the food business too, he told me about the restaurant and gave me a tour. I totally felt his passion about his job which was great to see! Anyway he was a great bartender. In short, I totally loved this restaurant from its ambiance to its menu to its staff. Wish it were in NYC. Can't wait to go back!"

"I love this restaurant! that was my second time here and it was just as good as the first time. the staff is so friendly and helpful! the bartender is delicious and makes great cocktails. eating is delicious. I had the sea bass with a light lemon sauce. it was perfectly cooked and was moist and delicious. my man had the chicken cacciator and he said it was the best he ever had. we were friends and they loved their choices too."

"We went here for a friends birthday dinner last night and it was wonderful! I expected the food to be delicious and it definitely was! I was pleasantly surprised with all of the staff. We were greeted immediately and although we had to wait a few short minutes to be seated the hostess actually chatted with us and made us feel very welcome. When we were taken to our table a birthday card was hand delivered to my friend; a nice little touch to make things a little more personal. Sean was our server and Caiden was helping him out and they were both very professional but made us feel comfortable enough to just be ourselves at the same time. That’s hard to find at fine dining but when you do it’s definitely somewhere you want to keep coming back to! When it came to the service the cherry on top was John (one of the managers) stopping to wish a happy birthday to our table too. It was a Tuesday evening but the restaurant was still buzzing with guests and a few large parties. Being that we were just a table of three I was not expecting that but it was so appreciated and made us feel like more than a bottom line but actual guests. We had appetizers, a few different cuts of steak, the blt wedge salad and a delicious salted caramel gelato atop the caramel cake instead of the usual vanilla. Sean was spot on with that suggestion it was divine! Everything was absolutely perfect I couldn’t have asked for a better night to celebrate my dear friend. We cannot wait to dine here again! I want to add I never leave reviews and I travel for business and pleasure on a monthly basis but Ocean 44 exceeded my expectations!"

"Been traveling to Bedford for years and this was my first time trying Cafe Escadrille. I feel foolish now for never coming here before. I was thoroughly satisfied with my app and entree. Started out with the deviled eggs and was a nice start. But the prime rib was the show stopper! It’s now one of my top 10 PR’s in the country. Will be my go to every time I over night in Bedford. Was cooked to perfection! And was a great price for the amount of food I was served. I highly recommend this place. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains!"

"What a wonderful restaurant! I had the cheddar cheese soup and grilled salmon for lunch. It was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys fish. The soup was fabulous and I’d love the recipe! We sat in the glass in room, overlooking the river and covered bridge. I would recommend that for a beautiful dining experience. Lovely restaurant, and very interesting glass factory so don’t miss that."

"We had a roof terrace reservation and sat immediately. For a starter we shared the Maple Bacon Crullers. The crossers were light and had a sweet cinnamon butter taste, which was a great base for the maple frozen and bacon above. Our Entrees were the Black Sheep Club with Pommes and (2) steak and eggs. The club sandwich was huge, but my daughter enjoyed every bite. Our steaks and eggs were cooked and perfectly seasoned. The captivating potatoes were delicious from the softening of the Buerre Rouge. Every part of our culinary experience here was excellent. The ambience, food and service will be back soon."

"We were seated 30 min after our reservation time. It seems that there was some poor planning on how long folks were going to sit at their table. Our server was excellent! The food was great. "First time diners, and wow, this place was amazing. Our server Gabriella was awesome, friendly, honest and helped us make some great choices for food! The staff was attentive and friendly and of course the food was amazing. Their seafood starter had perfectly done scallops, sweet king crab cut open so I didn’t make a mess of myself! The dry aged rib eye was an amazing steak, cooked perfectly, and so tasty! We had the chocolate bread pudding for dessert which was also amazing! And the drinks … Gabriellas suggestions for wine was so good my wife made me take her to buy a few bottles after and I had the oak smoked ok’d fashioned which was one of the best old fashions I have ever had! My wife who doesn’t like whiskey said she would drink their old fashion!! And the manager George stopped by our table and was so nice! Well run operation and amazing food 5 stars all the way!!"

"We came here for our two year anniversary and it was the best decision ever! We came for dinner and Chip was AMAZING! The ambiance is great , not to crowded but enough people.
