"Hubs and I stopped in as we always do when in the Bloomfield area. We were sad to see the notice on the door that this location will be permanently closed after the day we visited. Apparently it has something to do with their lease. Hopefully they can get it worked out as they have some of the best sushi in Connecticut! My favorite is the Paradise roll. It has a menagerie of flavors and textures that will tantalize your taste buds. Spicy crab meat, avocado, and shrimp tempura wrapped up in soy nori topped off with a spicy salmon ball. And finally, the drizzle of sauces launches the flavor beyond anything you can imagine! Honey wasabi, ruta sauce and yuzu sauce come together to bring you the most amazing flavor in every bite. Luckily Ginza has other locations in Connecticut so we can still get our favorite Paradise roll. We also ordered a spicy tuna roll which is our favorite of the smaller rolls. We love the hibachi entrees that are available, even if you choose to sit at a regular table. The hibachi noodles are really good here and they make great leftovers. Lots of flavor! Hubs wanted to try the teriyaki chicken today. The flavor was quite different from what we expected but was still good. It was even better the next day when reheated. The miso soup here is fantastic! Another example of Ginza's ability to make the best in the state. It's perfect balance of flavors means you don't even need to add soy sauce. Yes, it's that good! With this being our last opportunity to dine at this location, we also ordered the fried beef gyoza. Fried to perfection and accompanied by the perfect dipping sauce. So many of our favorite eats here as we say goodbye to the Bloomfield location. Over the years we have celebrated birthdays, graduations and other special occasions here in addition to lunch/dinner with my handsome date. Thank you for being part of many special memories for us."

"I got a spicy ramen with pork and a hand roll Cali roll. I was really surprised about the roll. Never had one that wasn’t cut but they there rice is real. Semi sweet when you bite into it, not just streamed. Their whole egg was cooked to perfection, fully cooked with the yolk still a bit gelatin texture that you want. Not running or hard at all. The price is a bit more then most spot so if I could put 1 1/2 dollar sign I would. But over all pretty solid for a lunch"

"THEY ADDED MORE TIP TO OUR CARD THAN WE LEFT!!!! We love the food. We have gone here for family birthday dinners, quick take out a date nights for the past year. Yesterday, our service wasn't great. Our waitress only came to our table 3x, drink order and food order (we already knew what we wanted), bring drinks, then bring food. We didn't get checked on any at all. She didnt bring our salad or soup until after we got our main dishes. We had to hunt down our own to-go boxes and even went to the pay counter to get our ticket because she wasn't coming back. We still tipped. No as much as we normally would, but still a tip. My husband checked our Banking app today. They added an additional $10 tip to our bill without our consent or knowledge. When my husband called them regarding this she apologized and asked if we wanted a free meal next time. There won't be a next time!!! They agreed he could come in tomorrow to get the amount they accidentally added, but gave us the feeling that this isn't the first time it's been done or the first time they've been caught. I assure you they lost way more than the $10 we found out about because we won't ever be back or recommend these thieves to anyone. Check you're bank statements or use cash if you want to go here."

"o’hana was great! nothing bad to say about today’s visit. my wife and I shared the hibachi, we had steak and huh. it was all very delicious. the rice had a distinctly different flavor and was very good. we had two sushi rolls, the monster roll and the missouri roll. both were amazing! (view photos)The staff was friendly, the cook was impressive and the place was clean. I'm usually not a fan of Sriracha sauce, but I've learned a little bit of a bit from the cook. if they put a small (SMALL dash of sriracha in the yum sauce, it will be the perfect amount of cing. like a creamy sweet thai chili sauce. very good! also observed the chef boil a lobster **** boil. he caramelized the meat with butter and soy, then put the chopped meat back into the dish to serve. I may have to go back and try it! I recommend a visit and will certainly return! simply 5 stars!"

"I never leave reviews but I was just so disappointed in this place. A few months ago me and my boyfriend came to try it as we have never tried sushi before. We got there around 2:30-3 and got seated in the back. there were only around 3 tables seated in the front so it wasn?t too busy, 2 of them already had their food anyway. I ordered miso soup and it got there pretty quick and then we ordered our sushi. We waited for almost 2 hours and did not receive our food until around 5:00-5:30! We only ordered ONE type of sushi for us to share and it took 2 hours? We were pretty sure our server had just completely forgotten about us or he just didn?t care enough to fix it. He was extremely rude and overall just disrespectful and for the entire 2 hours we were waiting, he completely avoided us. He would walk down the hallway and we would be prepared to ask him how much longer but then he would turn or turn around last minute because he didn?t want to confront us. It was extremely rude, we weren?t offered refills for water or anything. Just completely ignored. Another server had seated another couple in the back around an hour after we were seated and they received their sushi before we even got ours. The sushi itself was pretty good and we both enjoyed it, however the service was terrible and it was really hard to enjoy it when we got treated so terribly. I don?t know if it was a matter of not caring or slight racism but it was just overall extremely bad service. If there was better customer service we would definitely have wanted to come back because the food was good."

I’ve lived in the East Bay for over 10 years and can confidently say Tatsu has the best food, service, and atmosphere of any sushi restaurant in the Walnut Creek, Concord, Danville, Lafayette area. Proportions are always greater than expected, fish is always fresh, creative menu, friendly staff, modern decor, chill music and vibe, reasonably priced, and free gyoza and miso every time we’ve visited. "I have been to this restaurant more times that I can count! I grew up in Pleasanton and it is by far my favorite restaurant. The staff are so welcoming and immediately greet you (with smiling) when you walk in and they are super helpful. I have brought many of my friends from out of the area to your restaurant and each of them have left enjoying their experience. I am beyond blessed to have lived with Fat Fish in my life. The ambiance of your restaurant is regularly peaceful and calm allowing me to have enjoyable conversations with each of my friends. Not to mention the sushi is to die for and affordable. My favorite roll is the super tempura and I absolutely love their chicken teriyaki bowl!! Make sure to get some spicy mayo and unagi on the side!"
