"I was looking for a Zillion review and chose Zia, although it wasn't a decades-old place that would really scream Little Italy. We had a reservation and we were greeted by a super pumped man who seemed to be the owner and sitting immediately. We had Carbonara, Alfredo, Calamari and meatballs. The food was delicious. The pasta was boiled properly and the dishes had many great tastes. It is a small free space and very loud (to expect in NYC) and you must come ready to wait. Our waiter was very nice. The service became slower when they got the bus driver and he tried to deal with many tables and the front door. I am the need that the table beside us complained about the bill and it went downhill. These people literally cut and ate their pizza with a fork and a knife and looked like they were entitled and out of their element. Thanks to them and the business, we literally waited more than 30 minutes to get our check and another fifteen to get out of there. I'd go back for dinner, but I'd plan at least a 2 hour block. This waiting period let us miss the last event we had planned for the night."
