"As a very frequent year round local customer I was highly disappointed with my last takeout order. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS now! I enjoy Santos Buffalo Fingers and this year the 6 piece is now 5 and the price went up to over $10. Buffalo Fries? $3 more than regular fries to throw sauce on them and you're forced to get the biggest size where there used to be 2 difference sizes. $26 for 5 chicken fingers and fries with sauce on them. Oh by the way, you couldn't even tell there was sauce on the food. For the price I have to pay now I should at least be able to taste the sauce that is barely on the food. Hate that I'm leaving this negative review but since the sale this place (one of my favorites) has gone downhill. I hope the owners make changes"

"I didn't like how they make scrambled eggs. they are flat and cooked different. Also, notice the waitress putting the bread in the toaster. She didn't put no gloves nor washed her hands prior. I came home smelling like grease. They need to ventilate the cooking area better."

"An under-rated coffee shop in the Birmingham Area. Plenty of parking and baristas offer a friendly greeting when you walk in the door. Small vibe coffee shop with an amazing selection of coffee and specialty treats. Outdoor seating is nice addition. Will definitely be back."

"I’m a regular customer there and I really love this place, but this time I’m really upset with the service provided by the new hispanic woman waitress and the quality of the food that was served to my husband today. First of all her attitude was rude and she was in a hurry mode. We asked her for steak chilaquiles which is what my husband order ALL THE TIME and this time his steak was raw so we asked her to ask the cooker to cook it more. She claim that the kind of steak is the way they serve it. When she came back the new piece was burned) she argued with us and told my husband that from now and on the steak is going to be serve that way and if he doesn’t like it then he must remember to let the waitress know that he wants it well done otherwise pretty much you have to eat it like that. So I told her well is your job as waitress to ask the client how he wants his steak specially if you know that’s the way they will serve a steak now. No because you serve it raw the client has to eat it raw. Also, we ask for a decaf coffee and she brought the same coffee we gave back to her and she forgot to bring us the wrap cream for his pancakes. She is sooo rude and in a hurry to attend other tables and doesn’t care her current clients. When I asked her for my check she took her sweet time to bring it that I had to stand up and go to the front to pay, when she saw me she went very quick to say, oh I have your check here and we didn’t charge you for the chilaquiles because your husband wasn’t happy with it and she say it in spanish so the other people don’t understand."

"I heard it was good from a friend when he had food from the Omaha location. I was highly disappointed in the food and time it took to receive our food. I had big chunks cut of chicken tenders as to the shredded chicken others give for nachos. It was not layered at all, and took a long time for me and friends to receive our food."

"The Lips(chicken tenders) were excellent with numerous sauce (flavor) choices. Almost too many to choose from. We also ordered Taters-Au-Tanner, we chose the fries option and added taco meat. A nice generous portion, a meal in itself. The only downside toour visit was the restaurant temperature. I felt like I was eating in an icebox. My wife never even took here her jacket off.Actually warmer outside than inside. It's hard to enjoy your meal while shivering."

"This restaurant is perfect for gatherings with girlfriends! The eclectic atmosphere is inviting. It's important to note that they only serve breakfast and lunch. You must place your order and pay at the counter. The food here is unique, blending traditional dishes with unexpected flavors. The chicachillas had the most delicious salsa sauce – tangy and a little spicy! The burrito stayed hot until the very last bite. I definitely need to return to try out the other menu items."

"Ive ordered from hummus republic many times and today I decided to try grain salad bowl instead of build your own which I always have. Im so disappointed this time. First, Im missing ingredients, I understand I asked for no red onion and feta, but what about other ingredients that are listed on the menu? Ive only received mix green, olives and couscous?!? And it looks like someones leftover. Its NOT worth $10.95!! Second, the mix greens is ROTTEN!!! Half of the greens already gone bad! This salad is NOT edible! Im very mad with my order."

"The food and the service have been 5 star both times we have dined at the Charlton tavern. The food quality and presentation are top notch, our server could not have been more on point. The drinks are as well prepared as the food. If there is one thing I would change it is the lighting, it was a bit too dark where we sat, but that would never deter from stopping there anytime we are near there. Highly recommend"
