"The fried rice brought back memories of the authentic tastes I enjoyed in Chinatown years ago, capturing that distinct pork flavor that’s both hard to describe and increasingly rare to find. The portion was massive—enough for two people—but I found it hard to stop eating until it was all gone. All this deliciousness packed into a combo plate!
However, the ambiance leaves much to be desired. The restaurant feels more like a warehouse; all the decorations from the previous owners have been removed and not replaced. It’s just a vast, empty space with a few tables, bare walls, and boxes scattered everywhere, with food storage visibly close to where customers dine. It feels as though they weren’t expecting patrons to dine in. Based on the number of phone calls they received while I was there, it appears they thrive on takeout and delivery. In fact, I was the only dine-in customer during both of my visits.
The server seemed surprised when I sat down, and her service lacked professionalism—almost like it was her first day waiting on customers. If you decide to visit, be prepared to feel a bit awkward sitting at a table, but do get ready to enjoy a truly delicious meal."
