"We love Prairie Kitchen and we ate there 3 times this past weekend. The employees are always helpful and friendly. The price is always a bit on the high side but to us worth it to bring out of town guests and have locally sourced food. The problem this weekend was a couple of quality issues in the food. We ordered cheese curds and entrees and several other 'sharables ' for dinner and it was all brought out together which was fine. But then about 5 min later they brought out the curds saying, they almost forgot these. Not sure what happened but EVERY single one was an empty fried shell that the cheese had escaped from. Disappointing. I feel this should have been caught in the kitchen since they were visibly 'well done ' and had open holes. Another meal had the cheese melted away on the nachos and when asked if they could bring a salsa or pico sauce for dipping in, a bowl of watery hot sauce was brought which didn 't work at all. Minor issues in all but when you make a place a destination for the food you expect a certain level of quality. We will give it another try since we do love the hotel and the theme of the restaurant, but already checking nearby eateries in case problems persist. thank you for you time."
