"On a whim, we decided to ride our bikes with our two young kids for a very early dinner. We arrived at 5:10 just after opening. From start to finish, our experience was lovely. The valet person even parked our bikes for us! We started with a habachi crudo appetizer, buffalo wings and cocktails. My spouse loved the crudo and liked the wings. I loved the wings but I don’t eat fish. Our server, Lisa was lovely and very attentive. The staff went overboard to please our kids. Lisa brought out extra avocado for my baby. My son ate nearly his entire cheeseburger, which never happens. And Mark, the owner, even sent out some grapes for the kids. For such a beautiful restaurant, it was very kid friendly. I got the chicken Cobb salad for my entree and LOVED it. Nice shredded chicken instead of cubed which I prefer. My wife got the ahi tuna salad and told me she would eat it every day if she could. Ok, and, they have a sundae bar! We were all in heaven. We got a chocolate and vanilla swirl topped with chocolate sauce, rainbow sprinkles and marshmallows. My 4 year old is going to be talking about this for weeks. I am so excited for the summer so we can have some cocktails and food on the patio. I absolutely love this restaurant. Such a wonderful addition to the great Town of Highwood."
