"our family met in primal to enjoy brunch together. I have asked our reservation for 10 of us 6 adults and 4 children (3 small.) I asked the private room, if available, because of the small one. we were often in primal and have often been in the private room, so I thought the question was good. when we arrived, there was a table for 10 of us, but not in the private room, and not for 3 small children, as desired. Nobody used the private room. the manager came out and told us that the separate it area now has a minimum of $200. we were not informed before the time, and we were not sure what we would spend, so we simply took the table that they set up for us. the manager also told us that the sum of $200 does not contain the top. that was interesting because the tipp is included with a party of 6 people or more. our reservation was at 11:00 o'clock. we asked if we could order food for the little ones immediately, and they were very compatible with it. the child food came to the table at 12:05.... about an hour later. our food came to the table at 12:15 o'clock, and half of us had cold food. I felt bad for our waitress. she did the best she could with an extremely slow kitchen. since eating was so late, a few muffins would have been nice to keep the children. at one point we looked around and no table at the restaurant had to eat. they can see the kitchen, and the chefs had absolutely zero sense for drenchness. I am glad that the working atmosphere is relaxed, but with eating come over an hour later than the order, I would think they would step it a bit. the sanitation class was 94, that is the minimum I will go. my daughter in the law got kartoffeln with her order and got about a third of what they usually serve. I am disappointed because our family has always enjoyed brunch there, but we will not return."

"My wife and I were seated upon entering the establishment by Mary. She had asked if we had a reservation and we said yes, Mary said my first name Mark and as a joke I interjected, yes, Mark Smitti, Haha. Treasure came to the table to offer us something to drink with a water bottle and 2 glasses, which we appreciated. We used our Diners Club Card and she thanked us for having it out for her to see. She then explained what we couldn't use the card for and told about the appetizers and specials for the day. Treasure took our order and delivered our drinks. The food was exceptional, the fish tacos were fabulous from the presentation to the taste of well blended flavors that excited the palette. the house salad was just the right size and had an excellent array of greens, tomatoes, onions and cucumbers. I got the fried chicken with fries which included 3 pcs of the most lightly seasoned fried chicken. A drum stick. thigh and breast. was hard to tell it was fried. My wife got Poulè Sautè; boneless chicken breast sautèed with artichoke, sundried tomato, baby spinach smothered with creamy Havarti cheese. mashed potato vegetable. Portion size was perfect for both meals. We topped it off with Pineapple Eddie; Vanilla Almond poundcake served with fresh pineapple sauce, vanilla ice cream, house-made rum sauce. The overall experience was fantastic, we will be back. The entire staff made our first visit a very pleasurable one Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Dessert, Fried Chicken"

"I frequently visit this restaurant for dinner, drinks, and dancing. My first visits were great. The service was fast and friendly, the food and drinks were new and tasty. The last handful of visits over the past few months have gone severely downhill. My most recent visit the service was terrible. It took over 10 minutes for our server to bring two bottled beers. We ordered appetizers shortly after arriving and legitimately did not receive them for 40 minutes. I assume the waiter forgot to ring them in because after I asked about them it took an additional 15-20 minutes to get them. We didn't order chicken on our nachos (a $4 upcharge) but they came with chicken and we had a vegetarian at the table. We didn't say anything because we had already waited so long and were very hungry. Our entrees came out about 10 minutes later, but since I could see into the kitchen from the table and know the restaurant industry I saw our dishes sitting in the window prior to getting the appetizers. I knew they were ours because I saw our server move them there and then later grab those same plates and bring them to our table. The food was overall good, except for that there was black plastic in my sandwich. I stopped eating after I pulled the pieces out of my mouth. We were at the restaurant for the finale of Rupaul's Drag Race and it was loud and busy, which we expected. Unfortunately after the very unappetizing talk between the hostesses they performed numbers which were so loud that people around me and myself we plugging our ears. We would have left as soon as possible but our server was too busy talking and hanging with his friends nearby. We waited nearly a half an hour to pay and leave. Granted that this is one of the few gay establishments in Boston I will return, but it will likely only be for drinks at the bar and dancing. So disappointing since I typically love this place!"
