"Phenomenal Italian food! They have a gluten-free menu that you do have to ask for but has a large selection! My girlfriend, who has a bad allergy to gluten, had the best time there with me! We shared a gluten-free spinach and artichoke dip with their bread, and I have never had gluten-free bread that good and soft! The dip was very good too. My girlfriend had the gluten-free chicken carbonara and it was exceptionally good! They make it with a chickpea breading. I had their regular gnocchi and it was super soft and the spices added were very flavorful!"

"The outside is pretty deceiving. The inside is actually quite big. I like the way the restaurant used drapes to give the interior a little bit of an elegant look to the restaurant. There's this big floral centerpiece that you'll see once you enter the restaurant. There are these small tables on one side. A little too close for comfort if other people sit next to you considering we are still going through this pandemic of ours. Our server/ waitress Tassey was very helpful. My husband loved his dish... Capellini Pomodoro. My spaghetti bolognese was huge and yummy. My husband and I agreed that we would come back and try some more of their dishes sometime soon."

"what a fantastic restaurant. amazing location on the water. great view of the skyline. brilliant to see, yacht by or docking to let gastronomic moats leave. Eating is excellent. service is excellent. below- note that they are unhappy like us and have an unattended person smoking a zigarre throughout their entire meal! very unconsidered, especially because we certainly did nothing to negatively affect his culinary experience! oh, what goes around, does not blame the restaurants at all."

"First off.. my wife and I moved to hammonton from o.c. this place was one of the first places we chose to eat. I gotta say everytime we ordered my wife gets what she wants but my food for some reason is always messed up. It's like covid has really messed up people's heads in the restaurant business. They have entirely too many people making food and standing around not to mention the girls who take the orders on their phones constantly while waiting to pick up food. I order a Buffalo chicken cheesesteak wrap and get a sub with no cheese, withered lettuce on it, and barely any buffalo sauce. I order same everytime but I get a wrap with again...withered lettuce which I never heard of any Italian restaurant or restaurant in general putting cold lettuce with hot chicken, no cheese and barely any buffalo sauce. My wife gets the same pizza all the time (margarita) it comes to the house cold. You guys seriously need to do better! I'll never order again.."

"The service we received at this restaurant was very friendly and attentive. We chose to split the antipasti for one, which was simple with only cold cuts and two slices of provolone, but it lacked dressing. My companion ordered the lasagne, which was a good size and delicious, although he was informed that it was meatless when it wasn't. I decided on the Veal Marsala with mushrooms, which was tasty and had tender veal (something rare in most restaurants). The portions were generous and reasonably priced. Despite not being in my neighborhood, I would probably come back again."

"We were a large group on Valentine's weekend Saturday night and this place was great. It was everyone's first time and we chose it because the location was central to where everyone lived. "We visit Baltimore often and like to try new places. This has been our favorite new find. We ate at a nearby restaurant who mentioned several other restaurants in the area, including Birroteca so we booked a reservation for the next night. Although we had reservations for table service, we changed it to sit at the bar. The bar area wasn't crowded but enough guests to be lively. The bartenders were attentive and helpful. We started off with a beer, cocktail, and their special grilled calamari appetizer. This appetizer was amazing! Since I have celiac, I was happy to see gluten free pasta and pizza options. My husband and I shared a gluten free boar bolognese pasta and a gluten free Honey Belly (changed out the pork belly to sausage due to gluten issue). My husband ordered a different beer and I moved onto a glass of wine. We enjoyed our dinner, drinks, and experience at Birroteca. Definitely on our list to return when we are back in Baltimore!"

"It's got to be one of the loudest restaurants in Orange County... the brick walls and the small tables make it very intimate and if you're into that type of a atmosphere it is great! I would recommend sitting at the bar... at least you can speak side by side and have a little conversation. But you will want to go here because the food is amazing... everything we tasted was fresh, high-quality, handmade and really delicious. Thinking back on the menu there are at least 12 things that I still have to go back and try. Think more red sauce southern Italian family-style then upscale northern and more refined dining."

"We came here for a special birthday dinner with our family of four while we happened to be in town for another activity. Our server did an excellent job of suggesting food for our Gluten Free family members, and he provided interesting nuggets about where the wine or food came from. He seemed to take great pride in providing excellent service. Everyone enjoyed their meal and while I wouldn't recommend the place for rambunctious kids, our older children felt welcome and respected."
