"1816 was one of my favorite restaurants and have taken many people from out of town there as well as recommended more local friends to its location. However, the service we received last Saturday was horrible. We waited 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated then 10 minutes before we were greeted at the table by our waiter who clearly was very unhappy. He was argumentative with my friend who stated we were ready to order since we’d been looking at the menu for a few minutes, was impatient when asked about the fries, and then made loud blunt comments about the extra charges on the receipts when questioned what they were for. Never on the busiest of times have I witnessed such rude behavior there."
