"Today, my fiance' and myself decided to go to Arosso, touch of Italy Italian restaurant. When we lived in the area, we could only eat here, because of Celiac's disease. It's probably been close to two years since we have been here, and were looking forward to this as a treat. Upon ordering I was a little taken back by the new extreme shrink-flated prices. But I also understand that they need to make a living too. So if the food is worth it, then it's not a problem. We ordered a GF ham and cheese stromboli and a GF Chicken Quesadilla with fries. The stromboli was 32.00 and the quesadilla was 16.00. When I say there was two bites of ham and 4 bites with cheese in little more than half of the stromboli, I'm being extremely generous. I wrote this review from an exact point of view and not my opinion on the situation. You be the judge!, I must warn you, the pictures are very graphic! Would you pay 50.00 for these two items? When we asked the person inside, she said we got exactly what we are supposed to get. Personally I would have been embarrassed to hand this food to my customers. Update: the picture of the Stromboli is of the middle section. The ends were all dough and then just some cheese for a couple of inches. I went to Weis market and bought the new GF wheat flour. I made a pretzel stromboli with ham and cheese. Fresh mozzarella cheese from the cheese area of the deli and fresh chopped ham. The ham was Kreshmar off the bone masterpiece ham. The total it cost me was just under 15.00 in materials for high end products. Which leads me to believe there was less than 10.00 invested into my dinner that night at Arosso. With a 33% x 3 rule for restaurants. That means at 33.00 for a stromboli, 11.00 for materials, 11.00 for labor and 11.00 for profit is the goal. You be the judge? If I could make it bigger, better, with higher end products. I know these must be very profitable. I will add photos of homemade strombolis, next time I make them, to show the difference between what we use to receive here and what we get now. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dining"

"Ignore the negative reviews and try this place before crossing it off your list. My fiancé and I had an early Valentine’s Day dinner here and had a blast, we were served by Annabelle and she was amazing! She kept our drinks filled, gave good conversation, made sure our food service was above and beyond. Servers like her are why we love going out. She made our date night memorable. Evan was fantastic as well, he was on it constantly keeping the eating area cleaned and making sure we were having a good time. He even apologized to us about a table being messy after others customers just left it wasn’t messy it just had a fondue pot on it) We enjoyed the conversation we had with both of them and appreciate how hard they both worked tonight. We went here another night and I forgot the guys name but it was our first time here and he brought out his camera and took a film photo for us. He explained how everything worked and gave us suggestions whenever he could. This place is great from the food to the people. We highly recommend coming here because you will always make good memories ! The food is always good, how could it not be when you pick what you want and cook it yourself. We always get the four course meal for two, it’s an experience all in its own with friendly staff that adds to it as well. They even gave us a box of strawberries on the house for Valentine’s Day. We have lived in Michigan for about 4 months now so we’ve only been her twice but we’re already telling others about the great time we have. It’s worth every minute an penny being here even after the two hour experience we find our selves enjoying the environment so much that we just sit longer and talk with everyone."
