They offer the typical combinations of basic Mexican ingredients and portions are generous. Prices are not bad, especially when you go for lunch specialties."

I relocated to Birmingham 14 months ago and have been actively searching for any taqueria which might give me a slight reminder of home. "I went with a friend to Blue Moon. I was still Am) on a fast until 6 PM Wednesday, so I only drank water ate 1 tortilla chip. She had a beef puffy taco plate sweet tea. She enjoyed it took home a leftover taco."

"Horrible service: ordered appetizers and it took over 45 minutes to come. Is it hard to bring out a cup of Guac? Lol. Your staff is a bunch of high school children who have no service labels or manners. My parents were almost hit by a child who ran dirty plates all night and was just annoying. The main order lasted 1.5 hours to get out. Go to the other place; not this chaos of a place"

"Blue Moon is currently undergoing a transition, having been recently acquired by the nearby Akai Lounge. The restaurant's decor is being updated and the menu will soon feature a fusion of Mexican and Japanese cuisine. It remains to be seen how this new direction will be received."
