"This is for the home-grown local. They have good sandwiches at reasonable prices but you'll find yourself most charmed by the staff who knows every local's name that walks through the door. As an outsider it is fun to sit and enjoy a great Chicken salad sandwich and watch the wheels of small town life turn at this home-grown restaurant."

"Consistently good food and service. The lox platter is a must. Plenty of food for two people to split and the presentation is beautiful. Great neighborhood place with very friendly staff. I have never gone when there isn't a wait but it's always worth it."

"I recently attended my niece's birthday and I was floored by the changes this establishment has had since the new ownership. Not only aesthetically but with the service and quality of teas/food. I came here a few years back and was wildy underwhelmed. This time around, I felt taken care of and respected and catered to. The girls were having an absolute blast and have already mentioned wanting to go back for all the yummies (their words, not mine). The staff was super attentive and my sister mentioned how easy and carefree planning was with the help of the owner. She mentioned how accesible the owner was and always game to be creative and ensure the event was perfect for both the kids and adults."

"I ordered 5 items and my chocolate chip pancakes that I ordered with a side of potatoes were missing and I ordered two macchiatos that came cold and the cup was 1/4 full and was charged almost $5 for each. The side of bacon was cold and chewy and for the size of the burrito I received a small infill cup of salsa. This place is not worth the money for the quality you recieve."

"I purchased a beautiful authentic Persian carpet from this place. It was quite an investment, originally valued at thousands of dollars. I'm really saddened to hear that they are closing. I've been buying vintage items here for years, and I highly recommend checking it out before they shut their doors. They truly have the best prices in the city!"
