"My boyfriend and I were searching for a Caribbean restaurant in the Park Slope area and found The Slope Lounge online. Despite not having heard of it before, we decided to give it a try and we were so happy we did. Our first impression of the ambience and decor was wonderful. It had a relaxed vibe that was perfect for a date night. The restaurant was not too busy, so it was quiet and we were able to have a conversation without any noise distractions. My boyfriend was impressed by the open kitchen, which was something we hadn't seen before and made us feel like our food was freshly prepared. Speaking of the food, it was fantastic. I tried the chicken and waffles and it was one of the best I've had in Brooklyn. Overall, it was an excellent restaurant and we will definitely be returning."
