"The spot is great food is reasonable. Service is so so because it is good at times, then not so great at other times. There is an odd way that they prepare escovitch fish! The fish is delicious, but the tend to mix the sauteed accompaniment with cabbage that is disappointing. The cornmeal festivals when fresh ARE super delicious when stale tend to absorb plenty oil because of the obvious reheating I suppose. Question is: Would I go back there or recommend it to anyone for a meal? YES, I would. But I would be circumspect of what I order. I cautiously recommend this restaurant because GREAT things and experiences are not alien to the original intent and, like everything else, time could help them improve....good luck"
