"This is the place every Irish bar, or for that matter any bar should be, a great restaurant as well. It 's not an Old man 's bar; reeking of stale beer, nor a young people 's hunting ground. More of a Cheers venue. Dozens of beers on tap, really great bar food, the service is impeccable. The mixed drinks are balanced, flavorful and some can sneak up on you, if you 're not prudent. Shared a small order of buffalo wings. I was hesitant; once burned twice shy. The waitress brought them to the table promptly with plenty of napkins and a basket of moist towelettes, didn 't have to ask for them. That small touch, separates first class establishments from the DDD 's on the food channel. : Perfectly done and flavorful. Crispy skin, succulent meat, each wing was almost a meal in its self, they were that big. NOT just hot sauce slopped on greasy sloppy wings. For them alone the trip was worth it. Kind of place you could feel comfortable in any time, any day. Classic oval bar. Dozens of TV 's. A good crowd, many people long time patrons. At the buffet dinner, it was a private party, the selections were all done to perfection. Everyone enjoyed the shepard 's pie, the fish could easily have been overdone it wasn 't. That 's skillful. The green beans were a bright green; no olive drab limp beans. Everything presented skillfully and visually appealing. Don 't think this is hyperbole; it 's more of an understatement. This place is a gem. See the photos."
