"Would definitely NOT recommend. Was my first time there and though memorable it was for what went wrong or was bad rather than what was right. Not only that you have to pay a valet to park your car when the restaurant was basically empty. Poor idea and yet another reason I would not go back. Our waiter was terrible and even lied about our order being right when it was not and then he overcharged us. Have called twice to try to remedy and have yet to receive a call back. DON'T BOTHER. There are plenty of good sushi places around."

"If you order from grill make sure the food is hot by the time you get the food. They should describe the sides in more detaildifference between steak and seared steak! "Best sushi in town. Great service, laid back, classy atmosphere. Don’t come expecting fried rice- it is traditional Japanese. The fish is the freshest. I get the Chirashi- the dinner portion always has the best cuts of fish- and the soft shell crab salad. The sake menu is also Japanese designed, so it has a wide variety of classic sake in addition to shochu."

"Decent sushi spot with a nice patio area in the back. We stopped in for a quick bite before heading to the Salt Shed for a show and the sushi was really good. The portions were larger and the food came out pretty quickly. We sat inside, but noticed there was a nice patio in the back as well. We especially enjoyed the goma-ae with the sesame sauce!"

"I was in the Gaithersburg area for work and wanted to find somewhere great and low key to eat dinner. Yelp steered me to KENAKI for sushi. I snagged a parking spot close by and gave it a shot. I was greeted immediately and was shown to my table. The space itself is small but I thought the atmosphere was clean and modern. The tables are a little close together for my taste, but it didn't affect my rating. My server was Karin and she was very attentive and made menu recommendations enthusiastically when asked. I tried the Duroc Pork Belly Bun for a starter. I'm not a fan of watermelon so when I saw the watermelon radish as a part of that dish, I almost didn't order it. Crisis averted!! Thank goodness I ordered it anyway. It was incredible. On to my signature sushi roll, the Green Monster. This was also super delicious with all my favorite things: shrimp, shiitake, tuna, avocado, spicy mayo. Overall, so glad I gave this place a chance. I will be back whenever I'm in town again!!"

"LOVE this place, I’m here all the time for sake and sushi. Their rolls are top notch and they have the best calamari I’ve found in the city. They have a great Happy Hour and the staff is always helpful and kind. They’re open late and they have great karaoke rooms but the noise has never been an issue. The only reason I don’t have photos is because I inhale the food before even getting the chance to take one. 10/10"

"I 've been on a quest for best Miami Ramen for a while and though I do have a favorite place, I believe I haven 't found it yet. Came here looking for that Ramen and this was actually the worst Ramen l 've ever tried in my life. I guess since they 're a sushi place, their specialty is sushi or else but why have this iter in your menu and not make it at least decent.First of all, the broth had no depth or even that much flavor, kinda bland. I can say the same thing about the three small pieces of pork belly that had no flavor at all and for $18, one would expect a little more than a mediocre soup if that. I ate this because I was really hungry and it was in front of me so what choice did I have. The service was actually really good and waiter was friendly and attentive. I can only rate them for the Ramen, maybe their sushi is good and that 's why they have a 4 star rating on Yelp but who knows, the place only had one customer on the countertop and two tables occupied and I was one of them.Anyway, after this I realize that my quest for that Ramen continues for indefinite time, until then, don 't bother ordering their Ramen."

"Food was good. Probably one of the best restaurants in the area offering high quality food like a5 wagyu and high grade ahi tuna. The only negative I have was searing of food. Such as with the tuna takaki, would prefer more of a seared crust on it. I understand it should be raw, but I've had some from other places that were able to do it while still being raw. The same with the wagyu... The rock doesn't get hot enough for you to really sear the fat like I would like. Still good, but was a bit of a downer. The first few slices went decent fat caught fire) and gave a good sear but went down fast after. Went out within 10 min I would say. The gentleman sushi roll was decent. Tempura Ice.cream seemed a bit soggy.. again had it from other places that got crunchy, but still good especially for the Melbourne area) Will revisit soon for Curry!!"
