"Name of the restaurant implies a much higher degree of quality. Sushi was food court quality as best! Menus were printed on blotchy and folded paper on what seemed like a malfunctioning home printer. Salad dressing was more runny than typical. Spring roll contents seemed mushy like puréed baby food. White fish sashimi was not the typical white fish. It was certainly white but a different consistency and texture, almost gelatinous. Overall, the sushi didn’t taste that fresh and pieces of the Eel roll were falling apart because they weren’t wrapped tightly enough"

"We just moved to this area, and we were SO EXCITED this place was still here after we visited 3 years ago. And I will say, the sushi was still amazing. But at lunch on a Friday, not only was it not busy, the service was terrible. And there were only maybe 6 tables being used. On top of that, the waitress over charged me on the lunch special and said it was because I chose a cheaper roll than the special. Yes, I chose a cheaper roll, so she charged me more....? The food wasn't worth the experience and honeslty the place could use a good cleaning and update. They did earn the 1 star for good food."

"I have been going here for several years and have never been disappointed with the food. Also love having the water view here. The sushi is consistently great and there are many rolls to choose from. This time, we tried the banana spring roll for dessert. It tasted similar to bananas foster. The plum wine was also good. I do miss when they had booth seating a few years ago. It felt more cozy than the current chairs they have."

"I have always been a fan of this restaurant! A few years ago, I was diagnosed with a gluten allergy. I was thrilled to learn that one of my favorite Chinese restaurants offered gluten-free options. However, the last few times I called to place an order, they informed me that they no longer had gluten-free dishes available. I am extremely disappointed as I have been a loyal customer for a long time and now must adhere to a gluten-free diet out of necessity, not choice. My family of five used to dine here regularly, but we will now have to find another restaurant to patronize."

"Had a great experience at Zushi Sushi in Issaquah. An intimate spot for great sushi. Plenty of choices for any sushi lover. I had the small sashimi which consisted of 6 generous pieces which included Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail, White Tuna, and Albacore. Then I had the Crazy Horse which came loaded. You don't have to go into Seattle to have good sushi. And to end a great meal, I was served a fired Oreo that was fried to perfection! Zushi Sushi is definitely well worth a visit!"

"I visited this place with my South African girlfriend on our trip to NYC. She was thrilled to finally eat a restaurant that reminded her of back home . Wow, this place was a disappointed and she was furious and embarrassed at the same time. I kept quiet because I knew there wasn 't much that I could say. We were told that Koeksisters was unavailable for the night as was Boerewors. That 's like going to McDonald 's and them being out of burgers and fries. The food that we did have was decent, at best. The Ostrich Sliders were the bright stars while everything else fell flat. The Slap Chips were perhaps the most amazing and I don 't mean that in the traditional sense; basically it was French Fries...actually it was. If you Google Slap Chips, you will notice them to be thick and meaty and drenched in vinegar. The service was OK. Not exactly warm and friendly but maybe more aloof. The pricing was what you 'd expect in the Theatre District. Oh well. We thought we learned our lesson with South African cuisine and decided to double down and try Madiba in Brooklyn. Heavens me, it was worse believe it or not! They too didn 't have Koeksisters....what are the odds of that? I could see the smoke coming out of my girlfriend 's ears when I bit into pumpkin fritters which were half cooked and half raw. What ensued was a debate as to which restaurant was better or worse. In this duel for last place, we voted Braai as the better place. Sorry Braai, I really did want this to work out well...."

"I ABSOLUTELY love Wasabi! I became a fan when they still had a shop inside Penn Station. In fact, for about a solid month, I was.... Well, I was addicted to the Chicken Katsu with Vegetable Curry and Lentil Rice. (I'm recovering well, tho) This place is always SUPER clean and presentation is always neat-I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this. For this reason, this will always be a personal staple and an introduction piece to anyone visiting the city for the first time."
