"we were early so that the place was quiet, but there were more people than we left. the restaurant is quite simple, but eating is something on the expensive side, but was excellent. we eat in many Indian restaurants and that was one of the best meals I had. the fried spinat was amazing. not sure that the French name or a lot of the wee French were, but it was all good."

"I was pleased to find a new Indian restaurant near home so I had to check it out. I perused the menu online and found they had a generous offering of dishes and I made my reservation and headed over. However I readily discarded the menu when they explained the evening's specials. The appetizer of thinly sliced and fried Chinese eggplant with tamarind sauce was a treat. It should have been a hint how how I was to be blown away by the entree. The Frenched(! lamb chops served with a cashew sauce was amazingly divine. The sauce was beautifully balanced with cardamon and the chops had that perfect spot of pink. I unabashedly licked my fingers repeatedly after each half of each double chop had been gnawed clean. Luckily I had garlic naan to help wipe up the remnants from the sauce that lingered on my dinner plate. I couldn't finish the generous portion and I demanded that they get every last drop of the sauce into my take-out carton. The service was attentive without being overbearing, too. Please checkout this place and let them be successful!"

"My review is late but I have to give this. This is the worst Indian food I have ever had in my whole life.I got stomach upset after eating their chicken 65 and when I try to call them and ask about the food the management is new I think and the way they behaved is very very rude and kept asking me questions “how do you guarantee the stomach upset that it is because of our food”I don’t have words to describe my feelings the way the manager or the owner behaved. The both owner and the manager kept arguing with me instead of apologizing for the bad food they served.I really don’t understand how can they be in public business when they don’t even have basic common sense on how to talk to the customers.I would say it’s “bekaar ka tadka”This happened few months back but I didn’t get a chance to write a review and I was very very frustrated with the way they behaved when I try to complain about bad food and my ILL health happened after eating their food.I only request people who ever wants to order food their just be careful about their quality of their food."

"The owner was a great guy and welcomed us really nicely. While this was a great entry to our experience at Spice Symphony I don 't believe the food lived up to the 4.7 rating shown on OpenTable (as of June 2022). The food was not authentic Indian food. For someone who has dined at multiple Indian restaurants, I wouldn 't recommend this place to someone who has also dined at multiple other authentic indian 's you will not leave satisfied. A couple of points to note, for example, the Dal Makhani (buttered lentils) came out glowing red after it had obviously been drowned in food colouring. That said the taste of the food was not terrible, it was a little bland but I believe someone who is experiencing Indian food for the first time could even enjoy themselves. For our starters, we ordered the Chilli paneer dry and the New Delhi Chaat. The chilli paneer was good as an indo chinese dish. The New Delhi Chaat lacked the crunch and sauces that you would expect from it. For our mains, we ordered the Dal Makhani, Gobi Aloo and Dal Tadka. Gobi Aloo and Dal tadka lacked flavour and Dal Makhani just was not the correct tasting dal. Overall a good human experience not so much on the food front. Ah, also excellent ice cold beers!"

"we recently moved to dc and found ourselves in bethesda a few times for different borderings (it is a very fast and easy journey from the inner city dc on the red line). each time we used the opportunity to pay a visit to bethesda curry kitchen. bethesda curry kitchen not only makes unusual tasty versions of standard Indian fare (palak pakora, samosas, aloo gobhi, yellow daal and roti are all excellent), but also harder to find South Indian dishes (dosas, uttapam and ayival, a kokosmilch based curry that I really wish were more ubiquitous). all mentioned items are vegan and very clearly marked as such on the menu, which is a great help. the friendly staff also knows what vegan means, so just ask if they have any questions. Moreover, the restaurant seems to do a lunch buffet and a roaring take-out/delivery business options to consider for those who live the happiness or work near."

"The appetizer chicken pokoros is basically fried chicken chunks that tastes like tandoori chicken. It was good, just a little dry. The chicken tiki masala was recommended by my waitress and it was absolutely delicious! Creamy, savory, and seasoned well! Again, the chicken was kind of dry, but that seems to be my experience with other Indian restaurants too."

"Horrible Horrible worst service. We just went there last Sunday for Mother’s day lunch and it was a horrible service. In spite of making a reservation a week in advance we had to wait for almost 2 hours to get the table. And no one seem to be bothered, almost had to clean our own table and join the tables ourselves. Water was not served on time, food was served cold. Really irresponsible owner and staff. Very very bad please do not ever go to this place."

"I tried their weekend buffet today and it was terrible. I would suggest not to waste your money on the buffet instead you can order the food and try if you like at least that. I hope they will add more items with better taste in the buffet for the price they are charging (18.99).Note: I can cook better spinach dhal than what I had here."

"This was my first experience with true Indian cuisine and it was a very good one! I’m a huge fan now and will not shy away in the future. We were a group of 16 and they handled our party with ease, bringing our food on time, constantly checking on us and were very attentive. Others in the party who had more experience with Indian food were very impressed and will definitely visit this restaurant again. I highly recommend!"

"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. It was so bad that I had to be in the parking lot late at night. The Paneer Tikka Kabab was burned and dry, like a rock. The chef claimed that no one had ever complained about it before. They also didn't have any chutney, but instead gave me yogurt to go with it. The vegetable biryani had three large pieces of potatoes, which were only partially seasoned and lacked flavor. The chef said he had run out of salan. He had no regrets and shamelessly told me that I was expecting too much at that late hour. I should have paid attention to their low 2.3 star rating and avoided stopping by. It's no wonder I haven't been back in 27 years in the South Bay area. The best alternative would be to drive to Taco Bell instead. If you arrive a bit earlier, I recommend trying their biryanis."
