"We have rarely eaten such terrible food. we have not finished our meal, even though we had starved. my cup gumbosuppe was a mud of shrunk hen and such hot paprika I could taste nothing else. the garnel and geese had a soak that tasted like ketchup with extra sugar and was almost as hot as the rubber bear. but the restaurant was almost empty on midday, our waitress was very pleasant, and the beer was cold and good. looks like a place where undergrads could have a good time drinking on Saturday night, but open table is full of places much, much better than eating a place."
