"I loved getting a nice high-tee experience without the typical high-day. The tea sandwiches were good as the teas. We looked at the Hollywood location, but ultimately decided to go to the Pasadena restaurant because it said parking and self parking. We finally found a parking lot, but I didn't see a valet. Service was great and Sam took care of us. I know that LA and Pasadena are very different than Orange County, as far as parking is going, but it seems strange to apply parking when it is so little available. Everything and everything, it was a very nice experience on the outdoor terrace and I would like to go back."

"I tried the Torrance site and was eager to taste this closer tea room. This location is located in the Hollywood and Highland shopping mall. This leads to a much smaller size and easily noisy location, but neither spoils your joy. The service was great, although they seemed easy among the staff. The tea room serves soups, sandwiches and salads as well as a wide range of teas and pastries. I ordered the afternoon tea service with fresh scones, fingers sandwiches, Macaroons and strawberries and cream. All were very tasty with quantities enough for two possibly three to share. Afternoon tea starts at $25 with an additional $7 per person sharing a 3 animal tablet of finger food and treats. I would definitely try if you were looking for something else."

"This place is charming and good for a special occasion shower or girl's birthday. We ordered the Afternoon Tea. The sandwiches and scones were delicious and good size. The dessert was missing a tiny macaron I swear was frozen from a big department store and a sad little cookie from a cardboard box. No tiny treats or teacakes. Nothing else. This was my 2nd visit here and I wanted to try again because it was the end of Covid last time, still disappointed by the offered contracts. Tea is treated as much about imagination as anything else. They also slashed on cream jam and the server never came back to the table so that we could ask for more (we were the only people there so it was not busy). It seems that they don't care. There are other great places for tea. I hope they get it and start making their tea treats pretty and better."

"The sandwiches could've have been stuffed alittle more. But overall they were tasty. The tea, salad and soup was filling too. All was good especially the sweets. The table we sat at was wobbly and one of us had to put pressure down on base while eating. Still we managed to have a good meal Overall my husband and I had an enjoyable tea time after a wonderful Dodger Discussion event at JANM. I will return to eat at Chado Tea House again."
