"I went today and tried their chicken breast sandwich, and it came on a croissant with spring mix, tomato, and honey mustard. The sandwich was thin but had amazing flavor. Came with a side, I chose to upgrade it to a fruit cup for a little more money. The fruit was ok, it was cut up in house and some of the melon wasn't ripe yet. All and it it was a good lunch."

"Me and my daughter had lunch at this location a couple of days ago...I can not say enough nice things about the way we were treated.. they come around asking if we need anything then clear our table..then to top it off they came and got our drinks and refilled for us.. that saves us from standing in line to do it ourselves...it's a yummy place to eat good wholesome food"

"This was my 1st time at a McAlisters and I was McWowed! I had the New Southwest Steak spud with mac cheese, cucumber salad, broccoli c heddar soup, large signature ice tea last but not least NY double chocolate cheesecake. The spud entree was top five I ever had with alot of succulent steak slices, cheddar cheese sour scream and the potato was huge-enough food for a whole day and only $12 is a great value. The mac cheese was perfect-thick, creamy delicious. The broccoli cheddar soup was also a top five ever item for me! The NY double choc. cheesecake was rich, dense and super delicious. It satisfied my regular chocolate craving. Service by Manager Hector, counter staff Tara Ryan was top 1% at any restaurant I've patronized. This restaurant is run extremely well! The dining area is large, very clean with a pleasant upbeat ambience. This is the best deli restaurant I've been to in Tempe and top five in Arizona."

"Lots of young girls working there who were clueless and not friendly or engaging. I ordered a variety of cupcakes and a cheesecake and spent over $100. The cupcakes were pretty and well put together but so overly sweet. The cheesecake was mediocre and tasted like it had sat in a fridge too long. I’ve heard many people rave over this bakery but was very disappointed in staff and product."

"I'm impressed. I may order once a month on the McAlister's app and do not usually have many problems in this place. Today was different. The system not only ordered me things they were out of him when they tried to change it or tell me something was wrong. I came into a big hurry, as I picked up SO LATE for lunch for hungry people, and I was not impressed that most of my order was missing. The young man behind the counter was professional and polite. He explained the problem and why nothing could be done until I arrived. He then made suitable substitutions as fast as possible and the articles looked fantastic. (Thanks, person who moved so fast, I couldn't read your name tag. I had a few minutes to look around and noticed how much cleaner the situation was. That could be because I picked up lunch incredibly late, but the staff also seemed positive. Whatever's going on, I noticed it today and hope that they will maintain the good work."

"My Ruben was very fresh and juicy, but my son was disappointed with his sandwich of grilled chicken club as king size. He only got a very small amount of meat on his sandwich and the other sandwich combined was just vegetables. The portion was so small that it would feed a 5 year old. A bit disappointed as we had been to other franchise locations and it had good portions."

"Stopped in here about 30 minutes to close while on a road trip. McAlister’s is one of the few chain delis that do Reubens correctly. However, they left the Thousand Island dressing off; I asked for it, and they said they couldn’t add it since they were closing soon and the sandwich had already been made. I was also told I wasn’t able to use their restrooms, because they were closing soon. I also wasn’t able to sit down and eat my meal in the restaurant, because they were closing soon. I ended up eating my dinner on the curb of their parking lot; ON THE CURB!! I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised, since the oldest employee looked to be around 20…maybe."

"We have visited McAlister's Deli often mostly at the Jefferson Point location but recently we have been heading up to the Lima Rd location. I feel like the store is brighter, cleaner, and is generally a better experience. I usually try to get the Gluten free bread on the sandwiches but it's very dry and crumbly. I'm glad for the option but I don't think I can recommend it for texture and taste."

Since today was Free Tea Day I decided to go get one, and then I saw you could order free tea through the app also and do curbside pickup!! "I use to recommend the King Club to everyone and have bought lunch or dinner many times for other people. No more, in fact the opposite in the future. The King Club use to be $10 but went up to $11 which is understandable in our over inflationary market but the last time I stopped it jumped to $15. I almost walked out without ordering but did anyway. When they handed me my order I knew something was off and told them I ordered the King Club. They said it was just the way it was wrapped. I got to my truck and checked my order. The sandwich only had a skimpy bit of meat on one side of the sandwich amounting to approximately a quarter of previous meals. I have made thicker peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Never again will I spend my hard to come by dollars there again and will give them nothing but the sorry recommendation they deserve. Greed is a sin and McAllisters can and will go to Hell."

"Curbside pickup was fast and once we pulled in the manager came out to check our name and greet us. The King Club was a HUGE amount of food and delicious! Potatoe Salad and nachos were also what I expected from McAlister's. The kids got their pizzas for $3.50 a piece with a side of fruit which is a great price. Will definitely be back."
