"Typically, a one-man shop when I go in. Wasn't thrilled the first time I went in and decided to give it a second shot. Waited 15 minutes for two sandwiches. Close to leaving another customer came in and told the employee working he wanted a medium roman burger; employee rang up two roman burgers and the guy paid for them. A few minutes later he noticed he was charged incorrectly, and the employee fought with the man saying he ordered two sandwiches and refused to refund him (when even I heard him order a medium. I get back to work and my coworker noticed their sub was a small and not a medium and we were charged for a medium. Don't think I'll go back."

"I love this place. The staff members are very friendly, the food is great. My personal favorite is the butter steak and cheese sub, I swear it just oozes cheese in your mouth every bite. You can even call ahead and place your order. You tell them how long you'll be and they have it ready for you."

"I'm not from the area, but I found Mr. Hero on Google Maps near my hotel. I ordered the Zesty Chicken Bacon Sandwich with perpetrator. It was a pretty good sandwich, nice taste, not too zesty, unless my taste buds were gone again. The perpetrators were a bit fat. Service was very good for a Saturday night."

"Let me start by saying the food here is AMAZING. I highly recommend the bbq wings , the sauce was smoked yet sweet with a mild kick to it. Also, my bf finished his entire chicken sandwich in the amount of time I ate one cheese stick (which were also great! Absolutely love this place."

"The good: Every time I go here, everyone I interact with is amazing! Friendly, smiling as it should be. Inside is clean, service is very fast and always accurate. I had a 10 Italiano, big frit, 2 big cheese sauce. $14 and change. Nice place. The bad thing: well, nothing! People complain about the price and call it 'fast food' are crazy! "We spent 25 minutes trying to find a Mr. Hero open, although the Internet says 9:00 and the open signs were up, the other heroes were all closed. This was the only one who was open as advertised on the Internet. Even if we show up at 10 a.m. to close the staff was great! Great, order was perfect, we appreciate it!!"

"Mr. Hero offers decent sub-fair, although I will admit, I often feel like the prices for the subs are expensive compared to what you get. The dishes and options are good, only expect to pay more compared to places that serve hot subs. Unique subs such as the Roman burgers Sub and Zesty Bacon and Swiss are outstanding, although I personally feel a Roman sub really reaches its taste potential with the addition of Russian dressing or a thousand island. The staff at this point is quite attentive, although current problems with underinfluencing throughout the nation can also be seen here. Workers often seem overwhelmed during the busy hours, and do their best. I recommend using their online app or additional time during the busy periods to avoid frustration. Michael is an employee with whom we often deal. He is very attentive and always pleasant to speak."
