"Ambiance, decor and staff were great! You feel welcome and warm. The drinks were good and inventive too but the food just was not good. I appreciated the attempt to change the traditional relish tray by pickling the vegetables. But honestly they were barely pickled. Not impressed. Our table of four ordered the chicken, a steak, the salmon and the beef stroganoff very different dishes and all were just kind of ok. The steak was very salty. The salmon overdone dry. The beet noodles in the stroganoff was intriguing but when it came out just tasted like normal noodles and nothing spectacular. The best dish we had was dessert the bread and chocolate pudding that was delicious. Perhaps we came on an off night..."
