"Congratulations on a well deserved piece in Bon Appetite. I have been enamored of Birch since it opened, still feel it's one of the best restaurants in New England on par with restaurants in other major cities. When Oberlin opened I had mixed feelings, thought it might be a casual Birch but was afraid it would take away from Birch. However I loved the way it has formed a unique identity, without losing the overall concept of seasonal, farm to table that propelled Birch. It has grown to the point that my last meal there last week was as well thought out, prepared and presented as anything I have had at Birch. Kudos to Benjamin, Heidi and especially his staff. To a long stay in RI."
