"stopped yesterday at 4:10 when the Happy Hour began. Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00. Make a cocktail and an app at the bar. Very nice location, comfortable chairs, beautiful size bar top to enjoy both cocktails and some food and not feel crowded. The bartender Greg was very pleasant and makes a really delicious drink. My Hunny had the Rocks Rita he loved and I had Ruth's Manhattan. They use Italian amarena cherries, an adorable change from a neon-red maraschino. It is a special note like this that you appreciate the quality of your bar. We ordered the tuna pile and the sharp shrimp to start. Both delicious, but the shrimps were so fabulous I ordered a repetition when we ordered a second round of food. Rich had the best cheeseburger. The Burger quality is great, the only thing I need to comment is the temperature a little off. A little too rare, but the quality is so good that we didn't care, so we didn't make a comment. I'm just telling someone who can order it. Richly ordered medium rare and it was definitely rare. Generally, you love the atmosphere, the selection of the app is a lot to our wishes and the bartender knows how to make a wonderful cocktail! Only the perfect date for us. We will come back"

"This was the best meal we had during our recent stay in San Antnio. It was a bit pricey but we did order drinks and some of the higher priced entrees. Both the Kale and Endive salads were excellent. The potato-crusted Halibut as well as the local catch were delicious. The service was excellent as well and the restaurant had a nice ambiance."

"Food is fabulous. Not a ton of choices, but the selections are varied enough. Only one dessert needed-Whiskey Cake. Great appetizer in candied bacon with aioli also phenomenal. My girlfriend had bacon shrimp and grits and both were super tasty. Even a basic chicken and bacon on sourdough sandwich was super yummy. Food is fresh and from scratch and it’s obvious. Not terribly expensive either. $95 for two drinks, appetizer, two dinner and dessert. We’ve been twice and loved it even more the second time. Everything came out fast as well. We had our dinner maybe five minutes after our appetizer was eaten. We will be back."

"I had dinner at this establishment and I must say, it was quite an experience. The meal price was reasonable, ranging between $50 to $100 per person. The food was exceptional, earning a solid 5 out of 5, with the filet being a standout dish. The service was equally impressive, also receiving a 5 out of 5 rating; the staff was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. However, the atmosphere left a bit to be desired, scoring a 3. It's decent, but it could use some improvements to enhance the overall dining experience. To top it off, I highly recommend the classic cheesecake for dessert—it was delightful!"

"Today was my first time eating at Thacher Rye and I’m ecstatic to say it was not be my last. I stumbled upon the restaurant after a quick Google search that screamed “EAT HERE” There are many places suggested for best brunch in Frederick and I’ve tried many of them; Jojo’s, Nola, Up on Market St and Hootch and Banter (to name a few and nothing, I mean nothing, compares to the service and quality of food as Thacher Rye. Immediately upon entering I was concerned that I was under dressed since I had just came up to get a beard trim and was dressed in athletic wear. The extremely handsome and very friendly Jordan, who greeted me with the kindest smile ever, assured me that I was ok. He gave me a quick tour of the dining room (which is so beautiful, like the entire building and we decided to sit at the bar with the incredibly charismatic and stunning Hannah! Hannah was multitasking like crazy all while making incredible eye contact and killing the customer service game. Chick Fil A should send their employees to Hannah for training! I had kind of made my mind up with what I was going to eat and after hearing Hannah’s suggestions, I stuck with what I wanted. Which was a mistake. Always listen to the employees!!! Now don’t get me wrong, my food was incredible, but now I can’t stop dreaming of Shakshuka. I did decide to add the Grits which are the best I’ve had anywhere outside of Atlanta. What a treat to discover this restaurant today. Now I just need a nap Thanks to everyone who made my first time eating here so incredible!!"

"omelet and blt were okay. there was a big party seating since we were there and we asked not to sit close to them. So instead of scratching us behind a room divider next to the house door. So every time a server went outside to the front terrace, our whole table shook off the door. Older male server (not our) was practically screaming when he trained someone new on the computer behind us. We couldn't even talk when he was close. Eating was in order, but nothing to write home. will not come back."

"great time in bar area with cocktails by brandon great old fashion and cosmos! dragged to the left into the wide dining room and taken over by victor and our waiter micheal. beautiful free time pace of another round, apps of crab filled mushrooms and meerrote ahi thun. both were excellent! moved to the entreen and all were cooked on request for perfection. framed spinach, kartoffeln au gratin, excellent lobster mac n cheese! wrapped with brotpudding and their cheesecakes both were great! all in all a great culinary and culinary experience that we cannot wait for. thank you. michael when they won these four back with their service and professionalism. a great night with friends!"

"on a Saturday night they seemed overwhelmed to honor the reservations and keep the table distance. server were confused where to deliver meal times. steak was overgrown. had no short ribs left to order, and filet medaillen special was just fair. they would not replace kartoffels with fingertips. he said it was hidden. no good answer for a high-end steakhouse. the waiter was pretty good, but the narrow distance and the loud space made it difficult to conduct a conversation."

"we visited the veuve Clicquot-Weinbauer dinner. the expectation is that this would be a high end experience, like a ruths Chris eating experience especially with the brand veuve clicquot and $175/ person! it was as if the personal was overwhelmed with the turn out. eating was good, but very small portions. we sat like vieh for long tables in a room that was far too bright and loud. the sound of the video was terrible. the ambiente in the room was not beneficial for an intimate wine making experience. the draw was funny, but the veuve clicquot beach bag lacks the underwriting pom pom poms! a bottle of champagne was also promised with the raffle, give a wise, but apparently they ran out! How does this happen with a wine-grower dinner with the representative? I was already at the wine maker dinner before other Ruth’s chris sites and they were excellent. this experience lacked the love for detail and expensive for what it was. I wouldn't go back."
