"I was visiting Washington a few weeks ago and ate the Parthenon. We were seated outside on a covered patio on a nice cool evening. For appetizers we the Saganaki Flambe and the Manitaria Gemista (mushroom stuffed with crab). Both were delicious. In addition, we had three shots of Ouzo to celebrate our upcoming Greek main courses. In between the meals one of the owners Mike came over and had a long conversation about the history of the restaurant and the food. There were three of us and for the main course I ordered the Broiled Pork Chops with potatoes and vegetables, my friend ordered the Glosa Gemisti with Crab Meat and vegetables, (stuffed Flounder), our third person had a Greek salad. As you can see by the pictures the portions were generous. The food was delicious, and the service was out of this world. There was the metered street parking, and this restaurant is dog friendly on the outside patio section. So, when in the Chevy Chase area and looking an authentic Greek restaurant for lunch or dinner the Parthenon is the place to go."

"Attended this restaurant on Valentine's Day. What started out as a nice evening, began to fall apart as the restaurant got busier. The waitstaff appeared to be lacking a few servers for the busier-than-usual evening. The music was way too loud to on a night you need to be able to speak without other tables hearing. Need to have a better alcohol service policy. After three attempts to please a customer, the owner manager had to come to explain why the man wasn't receiving his drink, in a voice loud enough to be heard over the loud music. Food was alright. Best thing : rice. Kabob : dry. I'm not even going to get into the debacle with the bill. Needless to say, this group of staff doesn't appear to be meant for food service..."

"METAL PIECE IN THE FOOD !! We frequently order from this place , but tonight when we ordered and bit into the food, there was a huge piece of metal inside the enchiladas. I had to take my husband to seek medical care because he cut his gum and was bleeding, he ended up needing antibiotics and a tetanus shot. When we called the restaurant to let them know , they did not even offer an apology, they just suggested we call seamless to get a refund for the food. Please be cautious and don?t hurt yourselves when ordering from this place. Please don?t get the enchiladas"

For my husbands 50th bday he wanted something to show the best thing he EVER did in the last 20yrs of his life so I got a picture of myself our beautiful daughters I took it to Goehrigs it was the Best. "I am only speaking for to-go orders with this review. We have religiously placed orders from this Pita Jungle for years, and I am not quite sure what the problem is recently, but the food quality hasbeen terrible. Food hasn't been seasoned well, dry chicken, not following orders, etc. Maybe new management? IDK what is going on, but we've been sad and just can't order from here anymore. Please fix these simple quality control issues. We love PJ!"

"I had the macro plate with a side of hummus and it was amazing! you get the money when you order it. perfect amount of food and very healthy by low/none oil in the cooking process. the plate comes with bon, tofu, brown rice and a mixture of steamed vegetables. also pita brot on the side. I also had a side of hummus to give it more taste."

"This place is close to my house, and offered decent Mexican food when I wanted. Despite issues, the food was decent so I continued to go multiple times. Until the experience I had this week. They made a mistake with their online menu, so it was shocking to me when I got home and was a taco short. I called to discuss and had the phone handed to who I assume was the manager? As a manger in a customer facing role myself, this is not how you handle mistakes. I was told it was a typo, and they were working on fixing the fact that their menu advertised 4 tacos, I expected 4 but it should only be 3. She didn?t offer a solution other than ?sorry?. No extra taco like I expected for THEIR mistake, no credit, just literally nothing but to tell me how to order it next time. There won?t be a next time. That?s not how you do business. Taco Nest down the street is is for me."
