"We decided to try some German cuisine for a change, braving a 3-block walk in 20-degree weather to get to the restaurant. Upon arrival, we had to climb several sets of stairs to reach our table. We were seated promptly, but were surprised to be placed in the chilly enclosed patio instead of the main dining area, which appeared to have available space. Our waiter provided excellent service, offering detailed explanations of the menu. We ordered a large pretzel and a breaded pork filet, which was cooked perfectly. For dessert, we enjoyed German chocolate cake. Overall, our experience was decent, with the waiter doing his best despite being stretched thin between running the bar and attending to tables."
