"We did not eat there. We went in by the kitchen entrance. The cook told us we would have to wait. We then stated we had reservations. A young lady advised us to follow her upstairs. The cook/manager? Advised the young lady all of the tables were filled. He then advised we would take a small table by the door. It was cold out and we did not want to be sitting at a table by the kitchen. We never saw upstairs. We left. They appeared very disorganized."

"Went for dinner w a friend we had the best time!! Our server was Ray and he was very personable, polite, and professional. He knew the menu very well and made our experience the best! Will definitely be returning to see Ray and have a good meal. I ordered the spinach pasta special and my friend got the Rigatoni and we both loved it!! The tiramisu dessert was excellent as well. Great BYOB for a nice night out!"

I thought the apps were pretty good, we had two specials, auberginen rolllatini and calamari with garnel, ananas and red pfeffer. the pizza was a disappointment. not really a thin crust as promised, a little burned on the top. the service was uneven, but the overall experience was relaxed and pleasant."

"We were among the disappointed folks thinking that there was going to be a fine dining option to the pizzeria. Not so! We weren’t aware of the several large entertainment events going on in New Brunswick last Friday. Clearly this restaurant was rather overwhelmed. There was no one greeting people or seeming to check reservations. We were finally given a table, one of two, in the hallway joining the 2 dining rooms. There are tv’s everywhere but none visible from the hall. We were rather ignored for a bit. We asked if clams could be prepared in garlic and oil rather than marinara and were pleased with a positive response. They arrived very tasty indeed. The Caesar salad that we ordered was forgotten..... We both chose veal dishes, parm and piccata. Both were huge servings , cane with pasta, were tasty and bargain priced at $15. each. Coffee and a cannoli completed our evening. We would return but with a different expectation."

"First, great date-night atmosphere for wife and I, warm, cozy and inviting. Dishes are served tapas style. Service was prompt and food was very good. Enjoyed the polenta ragu (see pic), the beets, the meatballs, and the risotto. I love polenta or masa with a good gravy and Davanti’s was terrific (gravy was pork ragu). This was our first visit and we’ll definitely be back. Looking forward to trying the burger, maybe for a lunch sometime soon."
