"I sat at the bar (from myself on the business). the bartender/server, adina, was fantastic! it was knowledgeable, attentive and socially. In addition to the excellent oysters, I was torn a halibut caponata special between 3 menu points. she recommended that heal. I've learned to consult a server for a long time and she was soouo right! it looked and tasted amazing! that is not exaggerated! the young sat next to me, asked me and the server what it was because it was so beautiful! the soulman on the healed and the aromen of the caponata were spot on! when they think about coming here, they stop thinking and come here for a great culinary experience!"

"Overpriced and in general an average restaurant. Nothing special to spent your time and money here, when you can find so many more restaurants to really enjoy your time. We had the vitello tonnato that was too average and overpriced. We also had the pappardelle ai funghi that was a good one though not so special only too expensive; the linguine alle vongole that were really good and the trancio di salmone that was overcooked and not a good one, not to mention that we had ordered asparagus with this one as a side and they arrived after we had finished our food. Finally we had their famous coffee and two sweets. Sweets were a gianduja cake that was delicious and the pecan pie that was below average. Coffee was just too expensive, nothing more! Overall, we paid for spaghetti as much as we would pay at a really good steakhouse and we didn’t enjoy our lunch."

"Wonderful meal. Old School North End Vibe. Loved this place. Food was amazing. Try the Stuffed Veal Chop. It will not disappoint. Friend ordered the Bolognese, I am usually not a fan but this was to die for. Added bonus decor very mob movie, old mob movies playing on screens throughout the restaurant. Very campy but I loved it."

"Calamarit was quite good but the Caesar salad was mediocre at best. I had asked the waiter ahead of time how it was and he said quite good and if you don 't like it, I will have it for dinner . Well, I gues he had it for dinner, as I turned it back. Dressing was like mayonnaise on the lettuce leaves, and the croutons, if housemade like he said they were, wer fairly taseteless. I traded it for Bruscetta the flavor was good but the crostini it was on was eh ...with all the great bread in SF, I expected better. My daughter loved her pasta, and the wines were good. Our waiter was quite nice, but I don 't think I will be returning."

"Ciao Bella USED to be good. I used to enjoy it. However, they CANNOT handle holidays. I just left (without eating dinner!! the restaurant for Mother’s Day and I will never be back. Business lost forever. Now this is not my first rodeo with Ciao Bella for holidays. They’ve ruined a NYE and a Valentine’s Day on me. I have not been back since Valentine’s 2018. I thought we’d give them another whirl to redeem themselves and damnit was I wrong, big time. Mother’s Day at Ciao Bella was probably my worst experience in dining out in recent months. I knew it was going to go south when our reservation was running “a half hour late”. Well, an hour later we were seated. Took another 20 minutes for us to just get water. Another 10 for bread. Eventually the waitress came and took our order. Well. Took about 30 minutes to get our apps. No one was clearing plates. We had STACKS of them at our table. Eventually they came to tell us half of our entrees were out. Which means our order never even got put in. We gave up and asked for the bill. Everyone in our section was being treated poorly. No service, late food, messed up tickets, checks calculated wrong. This was a horrific dinner and I won’t be back. I literally took my family to McDonalds for dinner after this poor showing from Ciao Bella. DO NOT BOOK CIAO BELLA FOR HOLIDAYS. They simply are not equipped to handle it. Do yourselves a favor and go to Cafe Borgia instead, you’ll be happier."

"ornella is a hidden gem in the district astoria. I have lived here for many years and recently discovered. I wish I had found it a long time ago! the pasta is really delicious. the ambiente makes them feel like they are in Europe. the owner is so real and will entertain you when you feel like talking. the servers are fast and there for what they need. they even gave us a glass of wine on the house! it is also a wonderful place for vegetarians/vegans as they have many interesting and tasty options. my favorite is the bolognese, with which impossibility burger made as meat. I'll report."

"we had a reservation and respect for the restaurant we gave them a head up, we would be 5 minutes too late. when we arrived there, we got the worst place on the bar (behind the coffee machine) with a discussion that we moved to a better place. we sat there for 20 minutes without recognition until we stopped a waitress. the evening was good, the wee was good and our waitress was good. when we were asked for a cappuccino, we were told no. the bar delicate will not make them when he is busy. Tired xxxx, I was in a restaurant where you got what you wanted, but no, I was looking at pizzeria where you get what they want to give you. Hey, winnipeg, let's not take this anymore."

"The first time here and it was great. Came at 4:30 and only one more couple came in until we were at 6. The tables are beautifully spaced and the decor is charming. Very clean. Our waiter Aldo was also very attentive and friendly. The bread that comes before the meal was warm fluffy goodness. The asparagus soup was so good! It looks rich, but it is light and only a touch creamy. Loved how good it was seasoned and asparagus taste was phenomenal. The best part was how hot the soup was. Usually go to restaurants, the soup is leached 2 seconds after the order and it is warm, but I loved how hot the soup was here. The shells were perfectly seasoned and the sauce was great. Didn't have a drink at dinner, but I'll say the shells were pretty tiny. Maybe only the batch they got this time since I saw the pictures of other people with much bigger shells. Tasteful but. The parpardelle was food for the soul. Cooked al Dente with a rich creamy sauce that is not too thick. Scallops, spinach, crab and sun-dried tomatoes came together wonderfully. The Strawberry Panna Citta was probably one of the best I had. Had beautiful crispy pieces almond top, the fantastic texture added. The strawberry flavor tasted fresh and the chocolate syrup to the side was a nice touch. The only rare was the regular cream brulee (they had also flavored a chocolate). It was a bit eggy and the comminuted sugar had a slight bitterness. I'm just gonna torment this because everything else tasted so good. Needless to say, I was still very happy with my meal and will be back."

"The food here is very good. It’s a bit odd to get brunch at an Italian restaurant but there were good options (although no vegetarian panini). The menu posted online isn’t clear what’s offered when. I did think for $16 I would get more than two slices of French toast, at least a side. The service was slow and generally not great our server was slamming dishes around and spilled water all over and inside my sister’s purse without even apologizing."

"I am not against any kind to pay for valet when there is a high-end restaurant, but I should not be forced to pay for it to park in a shopping center with a corner restaurant, this is by no means a nice place and also at fantasies places they have the opportunity to park here either they pay for someone to park them parking on the road where it is sign of drag. when we arrived there, it was not busy and there were three parking spaces open, but the host said to park in their shopping center I pay most for valet. Of course, I didn't eat there and maybe it was good eating or maybe it wasn't, but I don't feel the need to pay to park when we pay to eat there. only mine, to each one his own! I have paid many paints for the parking lot, but only the way she said I had to rub on the wrong way and wise as I guess."
