"Made reservation for 7:45pm. Arrived at 7:40pm. Was greeted by hostess who said she saw our reservation and that we would be seated Next . 20 mins later, 7 parties had been seated before us and we were still waiting. I decided to leave at that point and asked the hostess to cancel my reservation. My issue is why make a reservation if the restaurant is not going to honor it. I 've used Open Table reservation multiple times before and the restaurant was always able to seat me on time or as close to it as possible. Additionally, if the hostess knew I wasn 't going to be seated next , then she shouldn 't have communicated that with me."
