"I've had many good experiences at the Ribbon throughout the years, and was therefore not expecting the bad experience of last night. The oysters were horrendous tasting like milk, and at $3.25 per oyster, where would they have been from? A pork sandwhich was just as balnd, the fries looked to be frozen and not fresh cut; the beer list is awful no craft beers at all; the shrimp absolutely awful small, translucent and slimey. The brussel srpout app was way undercooked. The overall impression was that no one is minding the store and quality control has fallen off of a cliff. No one seems to care felt like eating at a bad mall restaurant. Unpleasant and disinterested staff as well. Won't go back."

"Everything from the salad to the pasta, the brussels sprouts to dessert was excellent. The pinot noir by the glass was acceptable but the wine list seems to be a bit shallow in order to entice diners with their cocktails. Service was good and we had a great corner location table, but the noise level made it hard to hear around the great table we had. It was a crazy windy night and the restaurant chose to keep the front door open a lot longer than it should have."

"WOW! I literally stopped between bites 2 3 to find the phone number for this restaurant, to tell Todd, who answered in the midst of a busy lunch rush that this was perhaps THE BEST-prepared salmon I apos;ve had in Los Angeles. This entree was melt-in-your-mouth scrumptious, from the grilled salmon, perfectly seared vegetables to the fresh accompanying aioli. Heavenly, truly. Were I independently wealthy, I apos;d (of course donate to charitable causes first) make this a 3x/weekly splurge! HEAVENLY salmon entree!! Thank you kindly."

"I've eaten twice here and twice it was the most delicious food I've ever eaten. The menu changes and there are items that come locally, like fresh mushrooms. The waiting staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The cook naturally knows what they do and knows how to create the most fantastic dishes with more taste than possible. It may be more expensive than other places, but it is far worth it."
