"I recently discovered Dave's while searching for a good deli in my area of Connecticut. It's about a 20-minute drive from where I live, but it's definitely worth it! They offer a wide range of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Everything is made fresh, which means you'll have to wait a few minutes for your order, but you can be assured that nothing is frozen or pre-made. In fact, the owner was preparing our chicken and eggplant right before our eyes, and you could really taste the freshness in each bite. The person making our sandwiches, who I assume is the owner, was incredibly friendly and engaging. I felt safe from COVID while dining there. Additionally, the prices are reasonable considering the generous portions. I would highly recommend this place!"
