"The Punch Bowl Social in Fulton Market is a little nicer, but the Schaumburg location was all-in-all a bad experience. Drinks are very expensive, food was OK (I actually really liked mine, but my three companions said their meals weren 't that good), the service was slow. None of this was a big deal, considering we went to play games. Unfortunately, there were several private parties we were unaware of which drastically limited what games we could play. We decided upon ping pong. The ping pong table is in a hallway with utility/electrical closets. The table is severely broken, the paddles are falling apart, and the lighting is something out of a horror movie. It was $13/hr to play in that room. Worst of all, the walkway to the (very) small karaoke closet goes directly around the ping pong table, which is hugely interruptive. We decided to play darts and grabbed a table in front of the darts upstairs. After being there for at least 15 min, an employee of Punch Bowl Social approached us, asked us if we were with the private party, we, of course, said no, to which she responded you can 't be here! After that, we left. We spent over $300 for 4 people to be shuffled around a poorly maintained venue with rude employees."
