"Service was incredibly poor particularly on a signature day Valentine’s Day. We thought about leaving but knew at such a late time (reservations were for 8p that we would have a challenge finding another place to dine. I stood waiting at the reception area for about 15 minutes before anyone addressed me. Once seated, we waited another 20 minutes before we were given a menu. The sommelier suggested a wine that turned out to be such low value that we had serious headaches the next day. All that said, when the food arrived it was worth all of the challenges we had with the service and the wine. The risotto was fresh and light and heavenly. The minestrone had a white base with fresh vegetables and a delicate smooth taste the lasagna bolognese was light and earthy and melted in our mouths. I highly and unequivocally recommend their food however to uplift the experience, order take out, buy a good bottle of Barolo wine and avoid the below par service and overpriced wine."
