"I really like how summer place is casual fine dining. Good variety on the menu, with items that are special to the restaurant. My son had the short rib, which looked like something out of the Flintsones, blue crab dip was awesome, salmon was on point, and the pepper elote wasn’t what I expected, but very good. Atmosphere is light and spacious, with great view of the lake and downtown. Tasty cocktails from the bar. I will say that our server, Laura was far from attentive and cordial, like she didn’t want to be there. Not what I would say, service with a smile. Maybe it was a bad day, but sometimes you need to suck it up and try to put on your best face. We will probably try it again down the road"
