"The good: the waiter we had, Kyle, was very personable, kind and attentive. The atmosphere is nice. Big open windows on a beautiful night. Very enjoyable to sit there and watch people and cars go by. Pinto beans were good. The not as good: Honestly, the food is pretty bland. I had the chorizo tacos and it didn’t have the spices you expect. The so called slaw was a tiny bit of purple cabbage, supposedly pickled I suppose, but it didn’t add flavor. The avocado creme was also tasteless. I think they put the chipotle sauce on it, which I didn’t ask for, but it was the only thing I tasted. Pinto beans, actually were good, as noted above. Street corn, a tiny bowl of corn, not on the cob as I had come to think of street corn, wasn’t bad. Ordered the blood orange margarita. Pretty tasty, but hardly any alcohol in it. Ordered regular margarita to see if it was better....it was not. Tasted like it came from a mix, or prepared bottle, again, little alcohol. They are definitely making a killing on those mixed drinks. My companion had chicken tacos, and the feedback was the same....not much flavor, not worth making the trip. Was hoping for a new place to eat in the area, but I will go back to my tried and true Mexican place up the street, Los Chiludos."
