"Our server was terrific~ quick, friendly, knowledgeable. She never made us feel rushed, but was very efficient. The outdoor patio was lovely. Perfect setting. The reason for a missing star is my little gem salad~ most all of the lettuce pieces were noticeably brown at end, and the apple slices were very brown. It is as if the salad had been sitting out all day. If it had been one brown piece that is a mistake, but the entire salad? Gross. The charcuterie cheese board was very good~ the honey comb a nice touch. Halibut cheeks made for exquisite fish chips. delicious ice cream. The olive oil cake was good, but the presentation did not do it justice. The cake was sliced into three triangles, resembling egg salad sandwiches (ugh), oddly there was only one scoop of sorbet, and the raspberry sauce was smeared on the black serving platter. So basically invisible. If the pastry chef is reading this please consider serving a scoop of sorbet with each slice of cake, and drizzle the raspberry sauce across the top. Maybe in a light color dish. It would be so much more appetizing. As it is now is looks unfinished and unappealing."
