"The place needs a little updating. If you like the classics diner look this is a nice place. We were seated immediately. Our server was OK. She seemed to be in a bit of a rush for us to order. This was our first time. She said they were famous for their fried perch but had no idea which lake the perch came from. We decided to order their beef kabob and socratic burger. The burger was thick and juicy, the beef kabob was tender, and both were cooked perfectly. The fries were hot. There was a good size salad and hummus with the kabob dish. The hummus needed a bit more garlic and lemon. Overall, the food was excellent. The service did get better."
