"We found out about Blue Heron Catering by a Google search. Blue Heron Catering was top notch from the beginning to the end of our wedding process! Julie, was extremely helpful with food choices, a day of timeline, and was quick to respond all throughoutthe planning process. We chose the beef brisket, pesto chicken, creamed corn, red skin parmesan potatoes, and Michigan salad forour wedding meal. Our guests raved about the food! As the bride, I wish I was able to eat more of the food (such as try thepesto chicken since I never got the chance to). I would definitely choose Blue Heron to cater another event."

"we always have great eating at this place. we went to silvester for dinner at 7 with some friends and everything was great except the noise level. they had a dj on the dinner side, which was good, but the music was super loud and not appropriate evening dinner music. I get it new years eve, but the party music should have started a little later than all families have finished eating. the only other output was the limited bar menu and no wine was offered. we asked the manager if we could get a bottle and they allowed us to buy one. eating was great and the menu, although limited was good. the personal was super friendly and has received all our desires. in any case they give this place an attempt, they are brilliant!"

"Great dinner. We had four adults and two children and every meal we had ordered was different. Everyone gave their food five stars. It doesn't happen often. We had Blistered Brussel sprouts for an appetizer and they were delicious. I ordered the tortilla soup and it was the best I ever had. The Muffuletta was amazing as well as the Pasta Primavera and the fish Tacos. The French fries were perfectly crispy and SO GOOD! We sat outside and are four and five years old children had an area they could play and no one really disturbed. When the children are happy and occupied, the adults are happy. After the meal I even went to find the manager so I could compose the cook. We?"

"This must be the best Chinese food in town. I know this is a courageous statement, but they always go beyond and beyond. The restaurant especially when you dive is a treat sure that they feel a very warm family in the restaurant. They have so many different options, whether it has soup or chicken or duck or dok they have something for everyone. If you go, you must try the salon for beef soup, it is the best starter. Your food always tastes delicious it is always fresh, even the vegetables are fresh vegetables. You can say that they are proud of the quality of the food they serve you. This is one of my favorite places to eat, sometimes I wish I didn't live so far. My favourite is General Tso with roasted rice, and beef and broccoli is also great!"

"Our server was never informed that it was my buddies bday! This was placed in the open table reservation. The server blamed the host who most likely blamed open table. The food is a bit expensive but the quality was good. Because this was a special event the food everyone had was good but I had to keep requesting drinks. I have ate here before and the food never disappoints but the service for what we paid should be able to anticipate that you will need drinks and just have them flowing and then this would be good. The tables for a guy my size are a bit narrow but I will say this slim shaming booth trend is an epidemic in all expensive restaurants."

"First time having oriental wok and it was actually pretty good! Food was delivered fast delivery man was very nice. I got pork lo mein pork fried rice which was super yum! I also ordered the broccoli in garlic sauce which I had higher hopes for... the sauce was spicy (yum) but didn't think the sauce was supposed to be sweet... kinda threw me off. Anyways, definitely will be my go to Chinese food place!"

"Went for my school’s end of year party. The food was good, and the service was initially good, but took a turn at the end. The staff seemed overwhelmed by us and very flustered. I received my receipt and handed the book with my credit card to the waitress. One of her colleagues later handed me back the book without my card, saying there had been no card present. Several of my coworkers corroborated seeing my card inside the book when I handed it to the original waitress. This original staff member who took my card claimed there was no card inside the book (if so, then why’d you take the book with no card inside…? and had a major attitude saying she 100% did not have a card from me. We got down on our hands and knees and were looking around with flashlights both inside our private room and in the main dining room. My card was nowhere to be found. I locked my card and was told if they found it they’d return it to the teacher who’d organized the event. The manager was receptive when we mentioned the rudeness of her waitress, but the staff member’s nasty attitude left a sour taste. About an hour later I was informed that the card magically had been found under a table near mine. We had searched all of these areas very carefully prior so I have my own theories on what actually happened…"

"Only 1 waitress for a place full of customers. Fries were nasty and the so called Cuban sandwich was nothing at all like a true Cuban except for the dill pickles. The bun was not grilled on a press. "The restaurant was inviting, though my husband and I would have preferred the quieter front room as opposed to the noisy, larger seating area. The food was delicious and the vegetarian options were inventive. I loved the porcini sachetti and my husband got the ravioli and beef tenderloin, which he also enjoyed though he thought the portion was small (I'm inclined to think it was just enough! "when we were there, we found out that they were closed in 3 days (per our phone.) the waitress did not mention how I suspect they were not asked. also the menu was tiny. I was excited to try the boudin (they were outside.) I have a hot sausage sandwich (the search for link style and it was like a burger patty. it was good, but not great. my children got the chicken sandwich (the best choice - very similar to popeye's current popular chicken sandwich and the blt (bacon was very thick, so it was chewing against sus crispy-like cattleperki . it was not very expensive. it was very rich eating what I expected from a meat-oriented place. I will try the other place. I have heard the boss/owner is great and it is a favorite in new orleans, so I just think it was just a bad time to go to this place. they are now permanently closed (Monday last day? . the waiter was very friendly- so I wish him luck finding a new job or going to the other place."
